I keep telling y’all that Facebook can cost you your job. This week, a Georgia officer is in the news after claiming to have been fired over things he wrote on his Facebook page. In what can only be described as ummm STUPID… Orlando James “O.J.” Conception was terminated after posting on Facebook what his former employer, Sandy Springs Police, claim were demeaning comments about the department and its staff.
They also allege the Sergeant described plainclothes police operations and violated operational security while Conception claims that is page is private and feels that he did nothing wrong. Continue Reading…
