Nas Claims “Racial Profiling” in Atlanta DUI Arrest (Video)
Acclaimed New York rapper Nassir Jones aka NAS is claiming that he was a victim of racial profiling. Nas, who was arrested for DUI in Clayton County, an Atlanta suburb, [View Mugshot + Dashcam Video] was caught on camera again recently where he quickly stated that Clayton cops targeted him for his race:“You know what it is?profiling man,? adding, ?they can?t stop a good man from shining…?
Nas was arrested in September on DUI charges and police report that he had a ?green tongue with raised taste buds? and a pulse that reached 116 beats per minute.? During the arrest, Nas admitted to smoking marijuana at his friend?s house earlier in the evening, and proceeded to fail a field sobriety test.? The charges were eventually dropped when Nas? drug test came back negative.

The suspect accused of manslaughter in the beating death of Ashley “AJ” Jewell has been speaking out about the case. Jewell, who died suddenly after a fight in the parking lot of The Body Tap Strip Club, has been laid to rest, but the case against suspect Frederick Robinson continues as he claims to be the “victim” in the situation. The Collective Renaissance Guild (CRG), (pictured above with newly elected Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed) held its 2nd Annual Winter Ball at the Persian Galleries last Saturday (December 5, 2009). Special guests included members of Atlanta’s business, entertainment and political communities, along with several celebrities.
This year, CRG honored actress Nicole Ari Parker, Rainforest Films? Will Packer and Rob Hardy for their artistic innovation and their contribution to the growth of Atlanta?s film industry.
