Rapper Shawty Lo could be having the best New Year ever…. or the worse, depending on your perspective.

Shawty Lo started out 2013 garnering quite a buzz with his new reality show being picked up by Oxygen Media…

Lo’s reality show fame was short lived after protests from the Black community sparked an online petition that got over 30,000 signatures.

Oxygen said little to nothing about the situation, but it appears that the petition has caused them to dump Shawty Lo’s reality show.

According to the DailyBeast, The people have spoken. Lamb?s petition got over 30,000 signatures and now Oxygen Media has decided to go ahead and cancel the show.

But wait…. there’s more good news, or bad news – depending on your perspective.

Shawty Lo, who reportedly has at least 10 baby mamas already, will soon be adding a new “baby mama” to his list!

Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was spotted shopping for snacks at a gas station in Hollywood, California yesterday (January 14th, 2013).

The self-professed ‘rich bitch” was caught in a compromising position by the paparazzi who apparently recognized the blonde diva and dove in for the kill.

With the exception of some short Uggs boots, our favorite “housewife” was spotted rocking all black everything.? Nene appropriately dressed for a “random” encounter with a cameraman, but what she didn’t plan for was a “wardrobe malfunction” of sorts with her favorite pair of leggins!

[Sidebar: Now I’m pretty sure Nene knows that Cali is a whole ‘nother world when it comes to the paps, which is why it’s kind of odd that she was caught slipping.]

The colorful “barbie” attended the season premiere screening of Idol at Royce Hall, UCLA a few days ago (January 9, 2013) in Westwood, California, rocking a skin tight Herv? L?ger Colorblock Bandage Dress paired with Christian Louboutin Black/White Watersnake Daf Mary Janes.

Nicki wore an uncharacteristically tame platinum blonde style to the premiere, and while many may be anxiously anticipating her ?signature color changes, Minaj’s long time hairstylist?Terrence Davidson?recently announced that he’ll be no longer handling Minaj’s mane changes.

The Atlanta Falcons won a huge victory of the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night (January 13, 2013).

In a win that can only be described as “heart stopping,” the Falcons pulled off a comeback that will long be remembered in Atlanta.

I talk much sh*t on twitter during most home games and was almost ready to throw in the towel when Seattle came back from a 20 to nothing deficit in the 4th quarter. It was the last 33 seconds of the game that gave many a Falcons fan a chest ache.

That was when QB Ryan completed two long passes, and Bryant kicked a 49-yard field goal with 8 seconds remaining.

Being in that stadium during those final seconds of the game shall forever go down as one of the best sports moments of my life, especially since I can continue to talk online as if I actually play for the team.

Common Hosts Private Atlanta Screening of New Film “LUV”… [PHOTOS + Official Trailer]

Hip hop star turnt actor, Common played host to an exclusive private screening of his new film at Atlanta’s Frank Ski’s Restaurant Friday evening (January 11, 2013).

Common’s movie is entitled ‘LUV’ and he stars in it alongside newcomer, Michael Rainey Jr. The two appear onscreen as an impressionable kid and his badass uncle in what is billed as a ‘coming-of-age story’ set in Baltimore.
