Nene Leakes (aka the last “original housewife standing”) of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and her fake “ex” husband Gregg Leakes were spotted poppin tags in NYC a few days ago (January 7, 2013).

Nene and her new “fiance” are making the rounds since announcing their “engagement” online last week.

Monday Nene made an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show (click HERE if you missed it), where she verfied the big news and chatted with Wendy today about their rekindled romance. Leakes also took the opportunity to spill the beans on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.

The two met in 1996, married in 1997 and filed for divorce in 2011.

As you know, it’s been MY assessment all along that the divorce was only on paper but I’m finally glad the couple has come to their senses and stopped pretending.

Leakes played the game and she won! All of her original cast mates were kicked off the island and now she can finally come clean about and live her life like it’s golden!

Nene is getting her shine on this month on the latest issue of Today’s Black Woman: Style Report.

The February/March 2013 issue of TBW Style Report features none other than Ms. NeNe Leakes showing off a number of stunning looks.

Even though, NeNe Leakes won us over for her part on the hit reality show ?The Real Housewives of Atlanta,? the reality TV star has been grinding for a while. She is proof that with hard work comes much success. Every time we catch Ms. Leakes on TV her wardrobe is on-point, and so TBW Style Report caught up with the ATL socialite to discuss her favorite designers, her go-to shopping spots, her must-have fashion picks, and her inspiring climb up the success ladder.

Last month Nene told The Talk:

I am not sure if Greg was ready to see me as his wife out in the forefront, making my own money, doing my own thing. That was very difficult for him and I felt like Greg wasn’t doing all the things that he should be doing as a husband, and I decided to divorce Greg …

Because I am so vocal, I felt like I was accused of doing something wrong in our relationship … and actually it wasn’t me, to be honest, Greg did something I did not approve of.

By the way, I totally love that the cute couple are finally shining bright TOGETHER as a united front… but am I the only one who feels ‘some kinda way’ about Nene shading Kenya Moore & Walter Jackson’s “fake relationship,” while she knew all along she and Greg had a “fake” divorce?
