Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute?held a press conference the other day to announce the start of?their new organization.? The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, Inc. (FFAWN) is an organization whose mission is to inspire women from all walks of life to reach their individual potential.? Through scholarships, grants, and programs that foster strong self-esteem, career development, and personal growth, FFAWN is intended to help women gain the confidence and skills they need to achieve success.? FFAWN will initially focus its efforts in Yonkers, NY and surrounding communities in Westchester and then expand its scope to include the Greater New York area and, eventually, the entire country.

He hit club Home late last week with a new buxom lady friend, where he was drink ing and dancing till the wee hours. “He was at the bar with her. She was a pretty big girl,” said a cocktail waitress at the club. “They were dancing to hip-hop and bobbing their heads. He had on a white button-down [shirt], open with a diamond necklace hanging out. Ne-yo held his annual?Mother’s Day Brunch for 50 single and foster mothers from the metro Atlanta area Sunday at the Loft in Castleberry Hill.? The event was invitation only and?was sponsored to raise awareness of the need to drastically reform the U.S. foster care?system.? Ne-yo’s mother was present, however Ne-yo?was unable to attend this year’s event.??Don’t worry though, John Legend took up?the slack and?gave the?mothers a heartfelt performance.?
On a side note, Sandra Rose is reporting that Andre “3000” Benjamin’s mother, affectionately known in the “A” as “Ma Benjamin” was also unable to attend the event due to damage received to her fayetteville?home during Sunday morning’s?tornados.? We wish her the best and pray for all of the families affected by this weekend’s storms.
