The trailer had been released for the upcoming sequel to Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married” entitled “Why Did I Get Married Too”. Janet Jackson will reprise her role as Patricia Agnew along with other castmates from the original, including Lahmann Rucker, Tasha Smith, Malik Yoba, Jill Scott and Cicely Tyson.? Also, according to the movie’s Wikipedia page, the new movie will also feature singer Keyshia Cole in her acting debut.

Blige and more. The film is signature TP with a twist, as Perry resurrects his pistol-packing Madea character for yet another family feature. Synopsis of the film:
When Madea catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April. A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of Raymond, her married boyfriend, April wants nothing to do with the kids. But her attitude begins to change when Sandino, a handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work, moves into April?s basement room. I know some of y’all complain about Tyler Perry‘s movies…but I, for one am a diehard fan. I still have all my bootleg copies of his old plays that I bought at the beauty shop (wassup Shonda). ?Sorry Tyler! As Oprah says…”when you know better you do better” I’ll make sure to buy this one when it comes out… 😉 Anywhoo, his next feature film “Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes To Jail” looks like it will be a good one to see. Here’s the summary I received yesterday:
After a high-speed freeway chase puts?Madea?(Tyler Perry) in front of the judge, her reprieve is short-lived as anger management issues get the best of her and land her in jail. A gleeful Joe (Tyler Perry) couldn’t be happier at?Madea‘s misfortune. But?Madea‘s eccentric family members the Browns (David and Tamala Mann) rally behind her, lending their special “country” brand of support. ?Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Joshua Hardaway (Derek Luke) is on the fast track to career success. But Hardaway lands a case too personal to handle – defending young prostitute and former drug addict Candace Washington (Keisha Knight Pulliam)?and asks his fianc? and fellow ADA Linda Holmes (Ion Overman) to fill in on his behalf.
