Chris Brown was just being ‘Chris Brown’ the other day when he punched that man in the mouth in DC last weekend, but who knew that HE would be the actual victim in the situation.
While charges in this recent case were reduced to a misdemeanor, Chris still faces up to 4 years jail time because he’s still on probation for
beating Rihanna to a pulp that unfortunate incident he had with Rihanna a few years back.
That being said, Brown and his attorney are acting fast to ensure he gets a few brownie points when the time comes for him to face the judge.
According to TMZ, Brown has been committed to a Malibu facility to work on his anger issues. He will spend at least 3 months of his life holed up in a swanky joint where he’ll have to talk open and honestly about his feelings.
Sources connected to the singer tell TMZ … there has been no firm decision on the precise length of time Brown will stay, but everyone in Brown’s camp — including Brown himself — is open to as much as 3 months.
One source put it this way … “The rehab facility has been told to take him [Brown] apart and put him back together.”
As TMZ first reported … Brown is specifically getting treatment for his anger problem, which manifested itself last weekendwhen he was arrested for allegedly punching a guy in the face.
And, as we previously reported, Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, knows it’s very likely the judge in the Rihanna case will revoke Brown’s probation, which could put him behind prison bars for up to 4 years. The rehab move is an act of good faith, showing Brown is dealing with his problems.
What do you think of Brown’s decision to enter ‘Anger Management’ rehab?
