Singer Chris Brown‘s mugshot from his Oct. 27 arrest has been released online and he’s not looking too happy these days.

Brown’s Washington DC misdemeanor assault trial just days away and after being withheld for months the singer’s mugshot finally hit the net yesterday (April 17, 2014).

Authorities?say the 24-year-old superstar?was placed in general population at the jail. Celebrity prisoners receive no special treatment in the nation?s capital.

The mugshot was taken Oct. 27, 2013, after Chris and his bodyguard,?Christopher Hollosy, were arrested for allegedly assaulting?a man outside of a D.C. hotel.

According to USAToday, bodyguard Hollosy?s trial begins April 17, in Washington at the Superior Court, which could explain why Chris? mugshot was released.

Chris still has that peroxide dye-job, and his neck tattoo, which was suspected to be of his ex Rihanna, that has since been removed.

Chris? camp claimed that the DC altercation was self-defense, and that the fight allegedly broke out when multiple men tried to bum-rush Chris? tour bus.

However, the victim, Isaac Adams Parker, claimed that Chris threw the first punch and broke his nose after he tried to get in a photo that the singer was taking with a few females.

Chris will have a separate day in court when his trial begins on April 21.

As you know, the outcome of the case has huge consequences for Chris because at the time he was arrested, he was still on parole for the 2009 assault of Rihanna.
