Empire aired the 8th episode of it’s 2nd season last night (November 18, 2015).

This week’s episode is titled ‘My Bad Parts’ and it featured a musical rap battle between Lucious Lyon’s new rapper Freda Gatz (aka TasiaLoaf), and his son Hakeem.
Synopsis:
Lucious, eager to assert his power, releases a rap by Freda challenging Hakeem as his heir. Not to be outdone in Lucious’ eyes, Hakeem fires back at Freda with a rap battle challenge that could put Lyon Dynasty’s future in danger.
Meanwhile, Cookie gets a special visit from her spitfire sister, Candace (guest star Vivica A. Fox), Jamal is working on landing a major sponsorship deal and Anika receives some life changing news.
Singer Tweet aka the ‘Southern Hummingbird’ played host to a private listening session for her latest project ‘Charlene’ last night (November 17, 2015).
The event was held at The Artist Factory in Atlanta and the soulful songstress gave a select group an exclusive sneak peek of her new album that was followed by a Q&A session hosted by Egypt Sherrod.
Attendees included: Derek J (Fashion Queens), Drea Kelly (Hollywood Exes), singer Kelly Price & actor Keith Robinson.

Kandi Burruss-Tucker of The Real Housewives of Atlanta held her baby shower over the weekend and it was filled with all of her Atlanta area friends and family.
Attendees included Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, Toya Wright, Rasheeda, Monyetta Shaw, Phaedra Parks, Marlo Hampton, Quad Webb-Lunceford, Dr. Jackie Walters and more.
Kandi also had a 2nd baby shower a few days later, which coincidentally included several RHOA cast-members who were missing from the 1st shower.
Cynthia Bailey, Sheree Whitfield, Kenya Moore, Shamea Morton, Porsha Williams all showed up for ‘take 2,’ which will most likely be featured during season 8 of the popular reality show. Whatever the case, Kandi has been VERY busy but that pregnancy glow is amazing!

Meet 51 year-old Bobby Paul Edwards.? Edwards posed for the mugshot above after being arrested for assault and battery charges in South Carolina last year.
The arrest sparked a federal investigation that revealed that the man Edwards was accused of assaulting for more than four years, was a Black mentally disabled employee of his restaurant.
Now a federal lawsuit has been filed which alleges that Edwards and his brother forced the man into slavery.
Christopher Smith, a mentally handicapped African American man, was subjected to ?severe physical harm? by Bobby Paul Edwards, 51, while working at J&J Cafeteria in Conway. The lawsuit documents 14?cases of action including slavery, assault and battery, false imprisonment, violations of the Fair Labor and Wages Act and numerous forms of discrimination.
