Rapper T.I. (aka) Clifford Harris spoke during New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Easter Service on Sunday.? Tip, who is currently under house arrest for gun charges, was released temporarily to attend the service.
He drew applause and some friendly laughter when he spoke about his purpose for observing Easter. “We’re here to celebrate the death of our Lord and Savior,” Harris said, “he was willing to give his life for us so that we may ask for forgiveness for our sins and be forgiven and saved…no matter how many times we have to ask…or how long it takes to get it right.” (Source)
The service was held at the Georgia Dome, which was damaged 9 days ago after a tornado hit Downtown Atlanta.?
