Teddy Riley Issues Statement Re: Alleged Beating of 18y/o Daughter
Legendary producer and originator of “New Jack Swing”, Teddy Riley has issued an official statement in an attempt to set the record straight about the alleged beating of his 18 year old daughter.As posted earlier, Riley’s adult daughter obtained a restraining order against him, claiming the singer beat her and her sister and threatened to hurt them with a guitar from the video game Rock Band earlier this month and the three even proceeded to go at it online via Twitter.

Reality Show Alert ~ “One Big [HUGE] Happy Family”
Introducing the Coles, a close-knit obese family from North Carolina, struggling through weight issues as they come together to change their lifestyle & eating habits for their health. The show premiered last night (Tues, Dec 29) but I was too busy watching Rudolph’s Happy New Year to think about it. The family appeared on The Today Show recently to discuss the show:

Each member of this North Carolina family is considered morbidly obese. The mom of the family, Tameka is 36 years old and weighs 380 pounds. She works two jobs to support the family.? Her husband Norris is 41 and weighs 340 pounds. Tameka and Norris have two kids. Son Shayne, is 14 and is a hefty 308 pounds.? The daughter, 16-year-old Amber no longer fits the guidelines for morbid obesity and is in fact now considered ?super obese? at 348 pounds.

Ciara Offered $2 Million For New Year’s Performance
Word on the street is that Ciara will be running off with $2 Million dollars to perform a New Year’s eve show in the country of Kazakhstan. The singer’s management team has confirmed the news and apparently Ciara is headed that way as we speak.
Now I’m sure you’re wondering what tricks Ciara has up her sleeve for that much cash…well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Quick Flix ~ Courtside at Hawks v. Cavaliers (12/29)
Chris Brown and Usher Raymond were spotted courtside at last night’s Atlanta Hawks game vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers. I heard the Chris Brown was boo’d when his image came up on the JumboTron, while Usher snickered nearby.The game was full of celebrity sightings, including Atlanta staples like Antwan ‘Big Boi’ Patton & Chris Tucker. While it was a hot game to see and be seen, the Hawks lost 95-84. Fortunately for them, they get to try again on tonight.

Family Feud ~ Producer Teddy Riley Allegedly Assaults Daughter + Publicly Battles On Twitter
On the night before Christmas Eve, Award-winning producer/90’s icon Teddy Riley alledgedly went ballistic on his 18 year old daughter Taja Riley and proceeded to beat her with the plastic Guitar used to play the ‘Rock Band’ video game. Riley’s daughter, below, claims to have suffered several injuries, including a contusion on her face, and told officials her father “lifted a Rock Band guitar and threatened to kill person(s) with it”.
