Episode #10 is appropriately titled ‘Puerto Read-co’ after the newbies Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney both got an RHOA certified class on ‘reading’ i.e. ‘throwing shade’ (the art of insulting someone discreetly and/or indirectly) from ‘Housewives’ veterans Nene Leakes and Phaedra Parks.

Bravo Synopsis of episode #10:

NeNe and Phaedra lend an ear to Demetria regarding her relationship, leading her to question Phaedra?s sincerity.

When the ladies arrive in Puerto Rico, the conversation gets heated leaving NeNe and Claudia in a battle of words.

Claudia Jordan’s Feet are more interesting than she is…

NEWSFLASH! Claudia Jordan’s feet are hideous and she knows it.? Last week, Claudia’s feet were the latest breakout stars of the ‘housewives’ franchise as her hammertoes came outta the closet.

Episode 10 starts out with Claudia paying a visit to an orthopedist and she brings along Kenya Moore (of all people) for moral support.

“You don’t need to take barnacles to the beach, they already have them there!” – Kenya

With an impending trip to the beach on the horizon, Claudia wants to get her feet in order and the doctor says that her situation is an easy fix, but it will require surgery and a few weeks in a surgical boot.

Claudia apparently decides to put her feet on the back burner for now, stating ‘I’ll just continue to hide my feet in the sand like I’ve been doing.’

Moving on…

Kandi apologizes to Demetria about the ‘Roger Bobb’ incident…

After last week’s fiasco at her sex party, Kandi decides to meet with ‘newbie’ Demetria Mckinney to smooth things over.

If you recall, during the event Kandi’s friend, Gocha (pronounced ‘GO-Shay’), announced that she too had dated Roger Bobb, and the confession led to Demetria’s abrupt departure.

Kandi apologizes for the incident occurring at her home and Demetria has since issued a shade filled explanation about the situation.

Demetria accepts Kandi’s apology and she also accepts a few bedroom tips from the sex toy queen, who stated, ‘It definitely looks like she may need some help in clocking game.”

Kenya Moore seeks a personal assistant… (for what tho?)

Kenya Moore visits her new BFF Cynthia Bailey to get some help finding a personal assistant.? It seems that Bailey’s ‘The Bailey Agency’ not only finds talented models, but they also create campaigns to find personal assistants.

Cynthia’s personal assistant Carlton Morton lends a hand and is given the task of seeking someone who will ‘twirl’ around for Kenya…. (chile I guess).

I’m still tryna figure out why she needs a personal assistant, but stirring up trouble is a full time job. I can see how that would take up the bulk of a day, so I assume she needs a PA to handle the little stuff… like making sure her rent is paid on time.

Grade A Studio Session Shade…

It seems everyone is feeling somekindaway about the GoCha fiasco and now Nene Leakes and her new BFF Phaedra Parks pay a visit to the studio where Demetria McKinney is recording.

Demetria explains that she let Roger Bobb know how she felt about the situation but he had already told her about what he did while they were ‘one a break’.? For whatever reason, Demetria is totally ok with the situation because they had broken up twice in the 8 years they were together and he apparently saw other women (or men) during that time.

The shade session begins when Nene decides to tell Demetria that she better not ask RogerBobb to marry her!

But wait… Phaedra decides she wants to delve deeper in Demetria’s history and her reeeeeads were classic. She fired em all off back to back to back…

1. What is all this ‘on break’ stuff? Is it like kids in a schoolhouse?

2. Why didn’t you do it when you were a fresher little flower…

3. What genre is ‘me’?

4. It’s been 8 years, what are you waiting for? A liver transplant?

5. Demetria says she’s itching for something and Phaedra says ‘as long as it’s not bacterial vaginosis’

And last but not least…

?It’s hard to keep track of all the shade thrown, but the studio shade session set the stage for the explosion that was bound to happen during the upcoming ‘girl’s trip’ to Puerto Rico!

Two Opposing Teams + 1 Neutral Party…

As the ladies head to their ‘girl’s trip’ to Puerto Rico, it seems that the division has already been formed.

Porsha and Kandi arrive together and as Demetria greets them, she confesses that Phaedra had thrown shade towards her and she’s feeling some kinda way about it, they tell her that it’s just the way Phaedra is and not to take it too personally. As Demetria greets Claudia, Kenya, Cynthia, she tells them about the issue (separately) and messy Kenya pumps Demetria up to confront Phaedra.

It’s official. Kenya is the new puppet master and Demetria is the one being strung!

Phaedra and Nene arrive last and the other women have already settled in. As Demetria greets them, she introduces them to her glam squad and Phaedra tells Dallas (Demetria’s stylist) that he got it right… this time.

Shade? Maybe.? Well… probably. Things go downhill from there.

The ladies all meet for a group dinner and group one (Kenya, Cynthia, Claudia) assembles first.? Group Two (Phaedra, Porsha and Nene) soon gather at the table, followed by the ‘neutral party’ Kandi.

Demetria immediately decides to confront Phaedra about all her ‘shade’? and ends up getting a ‘how to’ class in reeeeading.? The two battle from everything from age to relationships.

Group 1 sides with Demetria and it’s written all over their faces. Group 2 sides with Phaedra and laugh amongst themselves at the petty comments.

The ‘neutral party’ (Kandi) stays out of it, and acts like she hasn’t a clue about what’s going on.?

After Phaedra and Demetria finish, Nene & Claudia battle it out with all the information they’ve dug up on each other from the blawgs.

Claudia brings up Nene’s arrest and calls her husband Gregg a puppet while Nene brings up Claudia’s looooong dating history and refers to her as a ‘half-breed’.? The insults become vicious and neither of the two let up.

Whatever the case, it’s clear that the alliances have been formed and there are two distinct ‘teams’ and 1 neutral party.

Team 2 (Beauties): Kenya, Claudia, Demetria
Team 1 (Beasts): Nene, Phaedra, Porsha
Team ‘Neutral’ – Kandi

For the record, Kandi has caught a ton of slack on her ‘neutral’ position this season, but apparently she’s ‘flying above’ all the drama by riding the fence.? She addressed her position on the issue briefly with me via twitter last night:

I guess I’m just of a different train of thought. My ‘friends’ I’ll ride or die for… my ‘associates’ can eat a brick and I could stay ‘neutral’. But it’s just a show and the ladies are merely co-workers… no ‘friends’.

But I digress.
