The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 9th episode of the 7th season last night (January 4, 2015).

In this week’s episode, titled ’50 Shades of Shade,’ the Kandi miraculously manages to bring all the ladies together under one roof after ‘squashing’ a few beefs last week.

Bravo synopsis:

Cynthia and Peter scout a potential new location for Bar One and begin their journey of doing business together. Phaedra continues moving on with her life both professionally and personally while she and Apollo are still living under the same roof.

Meanwhile, Kandi decides to host a sex and relationship party for all the ladies, bringing together NeNe and Claudia for the first time under chilly conditions. Later, the night takes a turn for the worst, when one of the ladies finds out that her significant other hasn’t been as faithful as she hoped.

“I dated him too… “

Will Cynthia cut the check?

Cynthia and Peter pay a visit to the planned location for Bar One Atlanta.? The owner’s of the previous location of Bar One went into foreclosure and they were forced to find an alternative location.

The couple has decided to go into business together as Cynthia plans to cut the check for the new Atlanta location.

Things are looking good for the duo. They’ve got a successful Bar One in Charlotte and now with the relocation of the Atlanta spot, they are planning for a bright future.

FYI – Peter can be heard stating ‘cut the check’ as they walk out.

Pheadra shades Apollo…

Now that Apollo has been sentenced, Phaedra has decided to do a home improvement project to improve security for her and her young sons.

The clock is ticking on Apollo’s departure (‘Mandatory Vacation’ as Phedra calls it) and it seems he’s spending a lot of time away from home.? As Phaedra meets with the contractors, Apollo pulls up and doesn’t seem too pleased that she’s doing work without his input.

In separate confessionals, the couple shares their thoughts on their issues. Phaedra ‘confides’ that Apollo is rarely at home and drops a ton of shade, stating:

“Look what the cat drug in, Apollo is actually home! It must be clean in the streets today, since he’s not running them.”

Apollo shares how he feels that ‘no one respects him’ in his household:

She could have waited until I went to prison to do all of this.

As of now, the way it seems, I don’t even have a place to stay when I come home.

Apollo also seems to be concerned with the cash flow, as he asks Phaedra about the expense of it all.

Oh well… reality really sucks sometimes.

In the meantime, Phaedra gets honored by the National Bar Association and proves that she’s still got a few career options in ‘real life.’? Parks received the organization’s ‘Maynard Jackson Jr. Legacy Award’ and was honored for her service & commitment to legal work.

So yes… for those of you who were wondering, Phaedra is still an attorney and her license is still valid.

Moving on…

Kenya’s Facial…

During a relaxing outing of facials and cocktails with her Auntie Sisquo, Kenya recaps the previous events and tells her aunt how she’s made peace with both Porsha and Nene.

[Sidebar: It’s almost sad at how much Kenya seeks validation on this show!? But I digress.]

Kenya seems happy that Nene has finally started to like her a little bit, but sadly she’s going to get a rude awakening (and even more egg on her face) when she finally comes face to face with Nene later in the show.

Nene Leakes Gets Yet Another Gig WIG…

Nene is finally home from her travels and as she and her hubby Gregg settle in, she gets a call from her agent.

It seems that there are quite a few jobs that she’s up for, but one in particular is calling her name… Cinderella on Broadway!

FYI – Nene also reveals a new confessional look during the short segment.

Kandi’s ‘shady’ ladies night…

Now that Kenya and Porsha can be in the same room together without violence, Kandi invites everyone over for the first group get together since the ‘squashed beef’.

The RHOA ladies and a few of Kandi’s friends all converge on Kandi’s home for a little relationship therapy and sexual tips hosted by Dr. Rachel (The Doctors).

Kenya gets a bit of a surprise when Mrs. Leakes throws shade during their first face t0 face. Kenya goes up to hug her ‘new’ friend and Nene totally turns her back on her, stating in her confessional:

I’m like a one night stand. I bang you and if I don’t want to do you anymore I won’t do you.

?Claudia and Nene also bump heads, as Nene seems dismissive when they are introduced, coincidentally they are the first two to be ‘tied together’ during Kandi’s event.

As an ice breaking exercise, each of the ladies are instructed to speak about their current relationships. Porsha reveals she’s in a brand new relationship and Claudia spills that Porsha’s new BF is Nigerian and has ‘about 20 other Porsha’s, and I don’t mean the car.’

When Demetria McKinney speaks about her relationship with Roger Bobb, Kandi’s friend Gocha reveals that she dated Roger Bobb too.? *sigh*

[Welp… I can see now why Demetria didn’t secure a peach! Hell, she couldn’t even hold on to her relationship with Roger Bobb long enough to make a storyline!? But I digress…]

Two things to note about Gocha (Kandi’s blue haired friend)…

1. She’s reportedly ‘engaged’ to Dice Dixon (Lala Anthony’s lezzbunn cousin).

2. She admitted on RHOA (after Demetria McKinney stormed out) that she knew Roger Bobb had a girl.

So does that mean that Gocha’s statement about ‘dating’ him meant they went out to eat once? I’m confused.? But whatever.

Why bring up dating Roger Bobb now… in the middle of a party full of messy women?? Oh… I know! Because that’s what she was invited over to do! Duh!

Good job Gocha! Now who else ‘Roger Bobb’??
