Just yesterday, I posted about Kenya’s intent to finally present her $20,000 charitable contribution to Detroit Public Schools (CLICK HERE if you missed that), but it seems she had a scheduling conflict that prevented her from personally delivering the check during the assembly planned in her honor at Cass Technical High School.
“I’m disappointed for a variety of reasons,” said Glenda Price, president of the Detroit Public Schools Foundation.
“The students at Cass Tech were preparing to perform. There has been so much anticipation about her visiting the school.”
After news of the cancellation hit the net, Kenya posted the photo above, where she’s holding a $20,000 cashiers check from CHASE bank. Continue Reading…
