Twitter timelines were off the chain Wednesday afternoon as former B2K band member, Raz B began a war of words against R&B singers Eric Benet and Chris Brown.
While Benet didn’t bother to respond, Brown launched a vicious attack against Raz B that quickly escalated from disrespectful to offensive and shocking as he began to reference Raz B’s molestation accusations against former manager, Chris Stokes. Brown continued to post homophobic statements and doctored photos of the singer for several hours.

I compared this situation to the infamous T.I./Shawty Lo Beef where Tip compared Lo to a dog howling at the Moon.
In that classic clip of Tip’s response (which you can revist HERE), he smoothly let Shawty Lo know that no response was really necessary by providing an analogy?of a dog howling at the moon.
The dog constantly barks at the moon, but the moon is so far away and shining so bright that the moon doesn?t care about that dog. Eventually that dog (Shawty Lo) will have to sit and admire the moon (T.I).
He ends the analogy with: ?Just admire the moon dawg!?.
But Chris ain’t that slick. He couldn’t just let it ride and now he’s issued a public apology…
“Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention.? Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter.”
Brown goes on, “I have learned over the past few years to not condone or represent acts of violence against anyone.? Molestation and victims of such acts are not to be taken lightly; and for my comments I apologize — from the bottom of my heart.”
One source connected with Brown wanted to make one thing clear — the notion that Raz B really was molested is highly questionable, given his video denial of the incident [WATCH] — not that it excuses Brown’s comments.
Brown ends his apology with this:? “I love all of my fans, gay and straight. I have friends from all walks of life and I am committed, with God’s help, to continue becoming a better person.” (source)
Blah… Blah… Blah… tell it to the judge!
Raz B quickly followed suit with his own public apology. After accumulating several thousand followers during the incident, many felt that Raz B initiated the drama for attention.
“I want to publicly apologize for my direct attacks done out of anger. This is now about taking the right approach, so not only my story can be heard, but so someone learns something valuable.”
Raz adds, “Standing up for yourself does not mean yelling or victimizing others and I sincerely apologize for that.? I was told that ‘you can?t hear my message if I?m screaming.’?
As for the death threats Raz B’s brother made towards Brown, Raz’s rep tells us Ricky Romance’s opinions and statement do not reflect how Raz feels — adding,”Raz B cannot control his brother being protective over him.”
Meanwhile back on the farm, Polow Da Don has decided to put in his 2-cents regarding the beef…
?I think he never should have responded, number 1. But, he?s 21-years-old, um, he knows the world was watching? it was his natural instinct to respond.
I actually hit him after it kept going on and on. I said, ?yo, you made your point. You need to kill it, bro. It?s going to turn into something, and you?re going in a positive direction now. So don?t play into it anymore.??
Polow goes on to add that Brown’s age is a contributing factor to the mistakes he’s been making and because he (Polow) has been there, he feels he’s the one to help him through this tough situation:
With somebody like Chris Brown, I feel like it?s my job [to help him]. He?s going to need people around him to always support him and keep him on the right track. When you?re told ?yes? all your life, you know, from 15 on, you?re just told ?yes, yes, yes, yes?, you know, the outcome is very different for you than for anybody else. In the wrong hands, it can be a travesty.?I heard Mike Tyson say one of the most brilliant things: he said ?you want to see a travesty? He said ?take an 18-year-old kid? ? which was Mike Tyson when he was 18-years-old and won his first world championship ? he said ?take an 18-year-old kid and give him 30 million dollars and tell him there?s no such thing as no.? He said ?that?s a travesty.? We can?t understand it because we don?t live that life.
Polow goes on to say that Chris Brown has been blessed with so much talent, that “every little mistake that he makes, God is going to punish him double.” [insert side-eye]….

Aren’t we all “over it” all yet?? I’m wondering who’s up next to respond to Chris Brown & Raz B’s beef?
