Attorney Phaedra Parks (of The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Mona Scott Young (producer of Love & Hip-Hop) and Atlanta rapper Rasheeda, all joined Kandi at her Tags Boutique for a live show last Wednesday night (January 11, 2012).

The topic of the show was ‘Does Love and Hip Hop Work In Relationships’ and Kandi and her crew spoke with the guests about things ranging from relationship woes in the hip-hop music industry to details about the show itself.

It was Kandi’s first show of the new year and it started out with a BANG!

Co-hosts Nikki-Nicole and DJ -A-One (above) kept the crowd rolling with entertainment news and commentary, while comic Vanessa Fraction, Don P (Trillville), Tammi Faye (Bad Girls Club/Jazze Pha’s baby mama) provided a bit of insight about keeping love alive in an industry where sex sells and groupies give it away for free.
ATLien & Rasheeda
Female rap artist Rasheeda, who has been happily married for years now, spoke about keeping a relationship in tact while facing the temptations of the music industry.
Rasheeda’s husband is also in the music industry, but the two have managed to keep their love alive and have so far avoided all the unnecessary drama that comes along with being in the spotlight.

Later in the show, Kandi took questions from the audience and I got the chance to ask Mona Scott Young (Love & Hip-Hop) about last weeks “fight” between Chrissy Lamkin & Yandy Smith. (click HERE if you missed Episode 8 – THE BIG FIGHT)
I dunno if you noticed or not, but during the fight Yandy made a comment to Chrissy like “I used to have YOUR job b*tch!” – I took it to mean that she used to be Jim Jone’s GIRL but Scott said that wasn’t the case, stating that she’s been asked that, but she thought Yandy was referring to Chrissy’s job of “holding Jim down” managing his schedule, handling his money & legal issues, etc. [insert side-eye]
…that is… IF I had one. 
Kandi and I are gonna have to work on the “A” sing… *sigh*

Yandi is a boss! She handles real business whereas Chrissy is a bit of a leech. As far as love and hip hop its all about where your values lie. You can’t keep a man that don’t want to be kept and you can’t blame a woman for going after your man if your man is advertising his services. Women are sad. We stay fighting each other and all the men do is sit back and laugh and take dibs on the next foolish ho.

there are no ladies on that show and I mean both Love & Hip Hop and Kandi Koated Nights. I’m starting to think Kandi is a bit of a ho too. Company you keep.

I hope Rasheeda Diamond and a few of the guys from ATL wives do Love & Hip Hop Atl! Rasheeda is beautiful and talented. I Never understood why Monica Never put her on a song! The Lil Kim song went no where her feature with trina was a dead end. She would have won with Rasheeda imo! and that would have been keeping it real for ATL.
I didn’t know Rasheeda was married. Nice to see a reverse love and hip hop situation where she’s the one throwing out lyrics that aren’t representative of a person in a partnership. My fiance is passively in the industry and I am dreading the day that he makes a big push. Our foundation is great but I can’t see myself ignoring disrespect. I liked kandi when she was part of xscape, her new found fame has brought out her tacky and sneaky smart mouth side. Nothing from with speaking ur mind, but don’t be sneaky about it. When questioned about some one making a weird face & choosing not to respond is the same as saying something bad.
