I caught up with NeNe Leakes and Sheree? Whitfield last weekend at Niecy Nash’s Birthday Bash.? We chopped it up a bit about hatin “A”zzz blogs and bloggers and when confronted, I was almost as quick to back down as Keri Hilson! Seriously though, I really like the Atlanta Housewives and wish them all success. Their real life problems prove that they’re just as prone to regular everyday bullsh*t as the rest of us, the only difference being…theirs is on front street while yours is still a family secret.
I told NeNe that all press is good press and I meant it. If they ain’t talkin bout you it means you ain’t worth talkin bout….so keep that good gossip coming!? 😆
As I was perusing photos of the Atlanta Housewives the other day, I ran across this picture of the blonde “wiggy” one sporting a finger tatt. Hmmmm….I wonder how his real wife feels to know that her husband is literally wrapped around another woman’s finger?

Actress/Comedienne Niecy Nash‘s celebrity filled birthday bash was held at celebrity photographer Derek Blanks‘ studio Saturday night. Niecy, star of Comedy Central’s “Reno 911” and host of The Style Network’s “Clean House” was all aglow as she showed off her svelte new figure with silver sequins. Niecy lost a ton of weight while on Jenny Craig and I think she’s still one of the spokespersons for they were one of the sponsors of the party.
The Atlanta housewives stopped through and totally stole Niecy’s thunder, all the while keeping the guests more than entertained. NeNe told me she hated bloggers before realizing I was one but I think we kinda bonded after she, Sheree and I had a conversation about how they feel bloggers hate on them all the time and only write negative things. I immediately took offense and explained how all press is good press and told them to stand strong in knowing that we (or I since I can only speak for myself) only write about things I care about. So there! My new BFF NeNe’s response? “Keep on hating and keep on blogging!” Celebrity hairstylist Derek J even managed to jump down my throat for asking him to tell the readers who he was (on camera).. I LOVE HIM! 😆
Anyway…everyone knows that The Real Housewives without husbands of Atlanta is my sh*t and I would never say cruel things about them. *cough* [Help! I’m choking.] Moving on….Kim Zolciak came through for about half a second and walked the red carpet before fleeing out the front door (as if we cared)..and before you ask…there was no sign of new housewife Kandi Buress.
It’s been leaked recently that former Xscape member Kandi Burruss has been slated as the replacement for DeShawn Snow on the next season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. I’m really excited about this new season!
Kandi has a looooong history on the music scene in the ‘A.’ From her participation in the R&B singing group Xscape (which also included sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, as well as Burruss’ best friend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle)…to her high profile relationships with industry dudes, Kandi’s definitely no stranger to controversy.
She’ll fit into the ‘housewives’ gang quite well cause her name has been around these here parts for a minute.

I told you guys the other day about how Kim Zolciak’s “webmaster” hijacked her website…well word is that her “webmaster” is actually Atlanta publicist, Jonathan Jaxson. You may remember Jaxson from his highly publicized legal fight against fellow blogger Perez Hilton. Jaxson is peeved at the Atlanta Housewife without a husband about her slacking payments and recently filed suit against her for breach of contract.? Zolciak, in turn, filed her own lawsuit last week claiming that Jaxson hijacked her website and posted ?negative and scurrilous information? about her on the site in retaliation.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge John Goger ordered Jaxson to take down what he wrote last week until the two sides mediate the issue:
As a result of the injunction, he has restored the site to what it looked like Feb. 20. Zolciak, in the lawsuit, blamed the ?hijacking? for generating negative publicity ?which has marginalized Ms. Zolciak?s public persona and is negatively impacting her commercial opportunities.?
Jeff Ward (Jaxon’s Buisness Parner) said the statement on the site was not scurrilous or defamatory; to him, it was factual. He said Jaxson signed on to be Zolciak?s publicist about the time of the popular Bravo show?s finale last fall. He said the two sides signed a $30,000 six-month contract for Jaxson to provide publicity services, including maintaining the Web site and getting her placement in various media outlets. He said he helped place her on the Bonnie Hunt Show, the E! Network and the Golden Globes red carpet.
