Lifetime’s movie premiere of “Whitney” was a ratings hit for the network, but it seems that not all family members of the late songstress approved of the portrayal and at least one has voiced their disapproval.

Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister in-law and executor of her estate, released a detailed statement expressing her disappointment about the movie and how she was not been properly involved in the making of the movie. ?She even states that she wasn’t even offered a complimentary advanced copy of the film!
Pat also feels ‘somekindaway’ about lifetime’s decision to air the film so close to the anniversary of the?Whitney Houston‘s death which was on Feb. 11, 2012.
