Pat Houston was feeling some kinda way earlier this week and hit the net with a few questionable Facebook/twitter posts.

Pat, who is married to Whitney Houston‘s brother Gary and worked as Whitney’s business manager prior to the superstar’s death last February,?recently?posted a melancholy message on Facebook, stating:

sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges. And for the first time in my life?I?m tired?and I want to finally rest. I love you guys.

Relatives of Houston aren’t taking any chances these days and 911 was called to investigate the troubling posts.

TMZ?reports that relatives of the deceased singer’s sister-in-law?Pat Houston?called 911 Monday (March 25) after reading the disturbing posts.

Upon reading the message, several unidentified members of the Houston family attempted to contact Pat, but she couldn’t be reached.?Concerned, they went to her New Jersey home and allegedly found her passed out in bed with a pill bottle next to her.

The family called authorities but by the time paramedics arrived, Pat was wide awake and said the situation was a giant misunderstanding.

Houston explained that she had taken pain medication for her back and fell into a deep sleep, so she didn’t hear the phone ring. As for the Facebook message, she said it was a reaction to stress, not a projection of suicidal throughts.

Houston was still taken to the hospital as a precaution, but was released a few hours later.

The family has since denied any talk of suicide.

Let’s just pray that her story is true and that the family merely overreacted.
