During a segment of BET?s Genius Talks with host Jemele Hill, the rapper/entrepreneur eloquently explained his decision, noting that he feels a boycott is in order due to the NFL’s ban against kneeling during the national anthem.

Meet NFL Hall of Famer/suspended NFL correspondent, Warren Sapp.
Sapp posed for the mugshot above just a few hours after the SuperBowl in Phoenix, Arizona and was charged with?suspicion of soliciting a prostitute, in addition to other charges.
Sapp is/was a broadcaster with the NFL Network and played professionally with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders after a collegiate career at the University of Miami. He?was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2013.
After word of his arrest spread, the NFL Network removed Sapp’s biography from their website and suspended him from the network indefinitely.
