In an article titled,?Secret Garden, Ciara states that when Baby Future came into her life, so did a new focus on what matters most: her son and her faith.The songstress said she was very specific in what she asked for in a man?and with her vision clear, she’s found the love of her life, Russell Wilson, who?recently asked for her hand in marriage?during a romantic trip to the Seychelles.
I remember telling my friend the kind of guy I wanted: a God-fearing man with a very fun spirit who loves kids and would really, truly care for me.
I was very specific because I do believe you can have it all.

Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Jill Scott was honored during ?ESSENCE’s 6th Annual Black Women in Music Event, presented by Lincoln Motor Company a few days ago.
The event is held each year during Grammy’s week in L.A. and this year,?celebrity attendees and consumers flocked to Avalon Hollywood.

‘Singles Ladies’ & ‘Housewives’ Attend 4th Annual Essence Women In Music Event… (PHOTOS)
The 4th Annual Essence Women in Music event was held in West Hollywood, California last night (February 7, 2012).
This year, Essence honored two of music’s most notable rising stars, Solange Knowles and Lianne La Havas and many of the music industry’s top notch vocalists, musicians, songwriters turned out to show their support for the talented ladies.Attendees included Jill Scott, Dawn Richard, Keke Palmer, RaVaughn, Tank, Estelle, Kenny Lattimore, Naturi Naughton, Tamia, Eric Benet and more.
