They’re working on a new song called “Never Give Up” and Mo wants everyone to know that she’s not dropping any fly by night hits. This is REAL MUSIC she’s working on and they’re making sure it’s right.? So be patient dammit!!!? BTW…I see you Mo shouting out the “A”…Love you boo! 🙂

Tiffany “New York” Pollard Brings “Vagina Monologues” to the ‘A’
All y’all Atlanta “New York” fans get ready…Tiffany Pollard is headed to the ‘A’.? The loud-mouthed drama queen who gained notoriety from doing Flavor Flav has been in L.A. honing her acting skills and says she’s ready for her onstage debut.? Pollard will be featured in the Atlanta production of Eve Ensler’s Obie-award winning play ?The Vagina Monologues.?
?It?s kind of a serious actress type thingy and that?s what I?m striving to be,? Pollard said. ?I really want to lend my voice and let people see that I?m there and I?m focused and I want to be a part of it.?
Coming off of reality TV, Pollard?s transition into acting may be quite a challenge. But she said she?s up for it.
?I think what people fail to realize is that before I got discovered to do this reality television thing, I already had a dream and vision in mind for my life,? she said. ?I always wanted to be a dramatic actress. I know that the talent is there. I know that the passion is there. It?s going to be difficult for me to align myself in the public eye because I am known for one thing and it?s a little typical. I have to do some groundbreaking work, but I?m not a stranger to hard work.?

Former Atlanta radio personality Porsche Foxx called a press conference late yesterday afternoon to address news coverage of her being called a “person of interest” in an arson investigation in Union City. The conference yielded no new answers and law enforcement are still searching for Tony Matthews. Check out the news coverage of her press conference below:
“I absolutely, positively without a question know anything about this, nor did I have anything to do with it”
During the conference, Foxx (real name Stephanie Calhoun) claimed she had no knowledge of the fire or the location and even denied knowing the man witnesses called her boyfriend, Tony Mathis.
One, Tony Matthews, lived in the townhouse with the injured woman. The other, Foxx, was visiting when the fire broke out, according to Padgett.
Foxx?s attorney, Leron Rogers, said she did not know Matthews, whom investigators also are looking for.
Three years ago, Foxx?s home in the upscale Regency neighborhood off Campbellton Road in south Fulton was destroyed by a fire that investigators determined may have been caused by an unattended candle. (Source)

Arson investigators seek to question the two in connection with a suspicious fire that damaged three townhomes Tuesday morning in south Fulton County:

Five fire stations closed temporarily yesterday in the City of Atlanta due to increased number of Atlanta firefighters who called in sick on Superbowl Sunday. A total of twenty-seven firefighters ditched work yesterday, contributing to the temporary closure, or brownout, of five fire houses.
Ladder No. 25 (Cascade/Beecher, Southwest), ladder No. 26 (Moores Mill/Howell Mill — North Buckhead), engine No. 12 (Dekalb Avenue/Little 5 Points), engine No. 30 (Cleveland Avenue/ Lakewood Heights area), engine No. 22 (Bankhead/Hollywood Road, Northwest), engine No. 26 (Moores Mill/Howell Mill — North Buckhead) and engine No. 36 (Kimberly Road/ Cascade Road, Southwest outside perimeter) were all affected by Sunday’s brownout, said Cochran.
“Our goal is not to instill panic, but we are definitely stretched very thin,” added Cochran
So let me get this straight. They’re raising City taxes and if your home is on fire during the Superbowl it’ll just have to burn down. Ain’t that about a b*tch!!

The event was held at 595 North Friday evening and the walls were ablaze with Derek’s masterpieces.? From Jennifer Hudson to Monica…From Akon to Usher and from T.I. to David Banner. Derek has shot them all.
