Radio personality?Rickey Smiley released the following statement regarding Steele’s departure, stating;
After 7 years with ?The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,? our girl Ebony Steele is moving on. We?ll miss her wit, charm and funny personality, and we thank her so much for everything she brought to the show. She will always be part of my radio family.
If you are a fan of the show, I’m sure you noticed that Ebony had been pretty much ‘replaced’ over the past few weeks with guest appearances from dayum near everyone in Atlanta.

Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of sat in on the show for a week followed by Porsha Williams, who took the spot for hot minute as well.

There has been a bit of a shake up in Atlanta radio this week.
It all started over at V-103, when Ryan Cameron’s morning show released two of Cameron’s co-hosts, Kendra G & Crash (click HERE if you missed that). ?Later I heard that Egypt Sherrod either jumped ship or left before she had to walk the plank after failing ratings in her afternoon spot.
Here’s where things get messy… rumors began swirling about who would fill the empty spots and names like comedian Wanda Smith and cross-dressing funnyman Miss Sophia were thrown in the mix.

Both Smith and Sophia played an integral part on Cameron’s predecessor, Frank Ski’s morning show, and neither has had much of an impact on air since Frank Ski left Atlanta airwaves this time last year.

But now at least one of them is about to make a return to Atlanta airwaves Monday morning as Miss Sophia now joins Rashan Ali on 94.5!
