It’s about that time of year again ladies & gents!? The Real “Housewives” of Atlanta are returning to a television near you and the official cast photo has been released.

According to a press release issued by Bravo:

In a season about taking chances, the hottest Housewives in the South are embarking on new ventures and returning to their roots. Kandi, Phaedra and Cynthia are exploring their entrepreneurial prowess. Though their dreams vary drastically ? sex toys, funeral homes and a modeling school ? each woman has jumped into their chosen endeavor with a signature boldness and innate sense of humor that defines these Atlanta ladies.

On the relationship front, NeNe and Kim remain estranged, but their personal love lives have changed drastically. Kim is madly in love, pregnant and building a home with Kroy, while NeNe?s now-official separation with Greg teeters on the brink of divorce. Sheree has grand plans for her own dream house, however the pieces aren?t coming together so smoothly. NeNe Leakes is Sticking to Her Divorce Story + Wants to Dance with the Stars… [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

Real “Housewife” of Atlanta NeNe Leakes appeared on Access Hollywood last week alongside Kit Hoover where she proclaimed that she’s SINGLE and ready to MINGLE!

NeNe is also sticking with her story that she and her hubby Gregg Leakes are over, stating that their divorce is just weeks away from being finalized.

Although she’s been spotted? snuggled up to her soon to be ex several times, NeNe says she?s hoping to hit the dating pool soon and is open to marrying again.

“I?m almost single? I should be single in the next in the next couple weeks. I would like to be out there dating somebody,? she explained, offering up a few of her celebrity crushes. ?Simon Cowell, Anderson Cooper.?

?I absolutely loved being married,? she told Kit. ?I think love is a beautiful thing. I love relationships.?

Three Real Atlanta “Housewives” Step Out in Style… [PHOTOS]

A few of The Real “Housewives” of Atlanta were spotted at Jeffrey Fashion Cares, a charity fashion show in Atlanta held over the weekend (August 29, 2011).

Cynthia Bailey, NeNe Leakes & Marlow Hampton have all returned from their South African excursion and appear to be adjusting back to the same ol’ same ole.

Marlo, the newbie of the crew, was rocking “all Gucci everything” from head to toe and looked quite stunning (albiet hot as hell for late August) in a velvet suit from Gucci’s Fall collection.

The event, created by fashion designer Jeffrey Kalinsky, was held to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Atlanta AIDS Fund.

Quick Quotes: NeNe Leakes Doesn?t Play The Blame Game?

Reality shows and relationships are like oil and water. They don’t mix! First DeShawn & Eric Snow called it quits, then Kandi & AJ (R.I.P.) called off their engagement, and recently Lisa Wu confirmed her separation from Ed Hartwell.

Real “Housewife” of Atlanta NeNe Leakes is also said to be in the midst of her own divorce drama with husband Gregg [insert side-eye here], and while I personally feel there’s a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” relationship curse, NeNe completely absolves Bravo of any responsibility in she and Gregg’s marital woes.

In a recent S2S article on how reality tv affects relationships, NeNe reveals:

Me and Gregg had issues before we even signed on to do the ?Housewives? show. I think the show just helped elevate them a little bit.

I couldn?t even put it on the show. I wouldn?t allow a show to break me up.

But the show doesn?t help.

Mmmm hmmm. I’m sure the show doesn’t help AT ALL! Especially when you’re facing marital problems & divorce on the show not in “real life”…
