Married to Medicine aired the 3rd episode of it’s 2nd season last night (April 20, 2014) and we finally get to find out why Quad Webb-Lunceford and Maria Huq’s friendship has dissipated.

Bravo synopsis:

A peace summit between Quad and Mariah turns into explosive confrontation that quickly spreads across the medical community. Dr. Jackie meets with Dr. Heavenly to hash out their issues, but realizes it?s not exactly the resolution she was hoping for. Meanwhile, Toya hosts a birthday party for her son; its all fun and games until Quad and Mariah?s feud becomes the talk of the party

It seems that after Quad became the ‘fan favorite’ last year, her good friend Mariah is feeling some kinda way. The tension between them exploded last September?at STK in Atlanta right in front of my eyes.

Married to Medicine has returned for it’s 2nd season and the ‘Doctor’s Wives’ hit the field running with lots of messy drama!

The 2nd episode of the 2nd season aired Sunday evening (April 11, 2014).

Bravo synopsis:

Jackie’s date night with Curtis takes a surprising turn when she tells him about her plan to have a child. Meanwhile, Mariah talks her balding hubby into getting hair transplant surgery.

After the showdown at Dr. Heavenly’s, Toya and Dr. Simonemeet to hash out their issues, but end up embroiled in even bigger conflict.

Another day, another reality show hits the airwaves! A few days ago, Married to Medicine premiered it’s 2nd season and it seems the ‘Medicine Wives’ are back for even more controversial drama!

Returning for another M2M round are Toya Bush-Harris, Mariah Huq, Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Quad Webb-Lunceford and Dr. Simone Whitmore, along with newcomers, entrepreneur Lisa Nicole Cloud and Dr. Heavenly Kimes.

Dr. Heavenly comes into circle with a bang as she bumps heads with both Dr. Simone and Dr. Jackie, who politely tells her that she’s a ‘Dentist’ and not a Doctor.

Mariah and Quad?s once inseparable friendship is non-existant this year and after witnessing their beef first hand at STK in Atlanta, I can assure you, you can put a fork in that relationship… it’s DONE!

That being said, Mariah,?the self-proclaimed ?Queen Bee??of the show, ?is now demanding credit for making Quad ?relevant? in the exclusive circle of Atlanta medicine, while Quad feels Mariah has a bad case of jealousy. ?Their ‘beef’ may be the focal point of this entire season.

Season 2 of Married to Medicine, the BravoTV reality show that focuses on doctors and the wives of doctors in the Atlanta, Georgia is headed back to the airwaves soon.

Mariah Huq, her ex-bestie Quad Webb-Lunceford, Toya Bush-Harris, Dr. Jacqueline Walters, and Dr. Simone Whitmore all return for a second season and you may have noticed that the token White chick is missing from the new cast photo above.

And as expected, season 2 brings about a few casting changes. It’s official. Kari Wells has been booted out…

The couple recently launched their first relationship book, entitled ?Carry-on Baggage: Our Nonstop Flight? and have been hot on the promo trail promoting.

Chanita Foster poses above with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘s Mimi Faust at the ‘1 Voice 1 Power’ celebration last night (August 5, 2013).

Foster’s ‘Beyond the Game’ foundation partnered with producer Jazze Pha’s ‘Shonuff Digital Media’ for the? ‘1 Voice 1 Power’ event which was created after the controversial outcome of the Trayvon Martin case.

The group held it’s inaugural event at Infusion Breakfast Bistro/Bar & Grille in Atlanta, where donations where accepted for Beyond the Game. Canned goods were also donated to Feed the Homeless, and monetary donations were given to Adamsville Youth Program.

Attendees included Quad Webb-Lunceford (Married to Medicine), Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker & Peter Thomas (Real Housewives of Atlanta), DeVyne Stephens, Sean Garrett & more, who all came out in support of the event.

During the event, Jazze Pha premiered a video from his group “Thee Unknowns,” whose members include Jevon “V12′ Sims (who will be featured in Bravo’s upcoming reality show ‘The New Atlanta’ this fall) and Gasner “GazMoney” Allen, for a song entitled “HELP ME” featuring Akon, which reportedly tackles the issues of the world today including HIV/AIDS, Homelessness, Poverty and racial issues.
