We all knew it was coming. Usher punked out on the statements he made during one of Jermaine Dupri’s video blogs. During the vid, Jontae Austin clowns Christina Milian’s new blonde look and then goes hard in on Chris Brown and Rihanna. Usher is spotted in the video co-signing with Austin who shows him photos of Chris chilling in Miami on Jet Skis and says, “I’m a little disappointed in this photo. C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on Jet Skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”

After the video spread like wildfire on these mean internet streets, JD quickly deleted it from his YouTube account and Usher issued the following statement:

I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.

Out of context?!?? Ok..well we might have believed that if the video wasn’t ALL OVER THE INTERNET! Duh!? I personally think that Usher wasn’t the villian in this situation…Jontae Austin was the actual songbird.? Usher’s measly comments weren’t even an issue to me. I did feel as though all of those GROWN “A”zz men could have taken a bit more responsibility and not posted the video. People can say what they want behind closed doors but once you post it for the world to see you can quite possibly be held accountable.

Usher obviously doesn’t want to burn any bridges. Who knows? He may need a Chris Brown endorsement one day.
