As you know, Miss O recently named herself as CEO and Chief Creative Officer of OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network) and she recently took a moment out of her busy schedule to update fans of her whereabouts via the social networking site Twitter:
The move expanded on Oprah’s former role as chairman of the channel, she is “officially” scheduled to begin in her new position sometime this Fall
Speaking of Fall, Miss O will be making her way to Atlanta mid-October for a day filled with panels and workshops specifically designed to encourage you to be your best!
Oprah will hit Atlanta ctober 15, 2011 for her ?O You!? workshop, an all-day event held at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Winfrey will be speaking during the event, as well as Gayle King, Suze Orman, Dr. Oz, Bob Greene, Nate Berkus and more.
Tickets are $125, so if you’re in the need for some Oprah motivation, you need to make your way on down to the congress center.
Me? I’m still utilizing the energy I received from Miss O during our mystical handshake at the end of her Oprah Show finale. I’m still floating from that day but who knows? I may float on down there too…

Word on the streets of the “A” is that Bravo has sent several of the Atlanta “housewives” packing for a while.
As proof, you may have noticed that Kandi Burruss cancelled “Kandi Koated Nights” (her online talk show) this week.
Kandi hit the tweets to give her fans a heads up that the show was canceled and she would be “unavailable” for the next two weeks.
She even explained to one follower that she canceled the show so abruptly because she has to “leave the country”…

I was chillin on the sofa watching the news yesterday evening when Centino Kemp sashayed across the screen.
I was immediately struck by his burgundy asymmetrical bob but wasn’t really paying attention because I was running my mouth on the phone. Little did I know that the news footage I was watch was revealing Eddie Long’s 5th accuser in his sexual coercion case.
We all know how Atlanta’s Fox 5 I-team is about running up on people (just ask NeNe and Greg Leakes about that).
They even found Eddie Long Accuser Jamal Parrish way in Colorado somewhere shopping for condoms at CVS.
Well now they’ve spilled all the T.E.A. on Centino Kemp, the 5th accuser in the sex scandal case against Bishop Eddie Long.
And while Centino’s identity was never revealed to the public until know, word is… he may have played a major role in Bishop Eddie Long’s decision to settle the case.
I wonder how many of y’all New Birth members are still drinking “Bishop” Eddie Long’s kool-aid…
