Soulja Boy Tellem made a special announcement online today stating that he is promising to portray a more positive image for the kids who look up to him:

What’s up, This ya boy Soulja Boy Tellem. ?I’ve got an announcement that I wanna make to all the parents out there whose kids are in love with me and all my fans who listen to my music. ?I just want to tell y’all that I apologize to all of the parents that have heard me say anything that they wouldn’t want their kids to hear coming from me. ?

Over the past few months, I’ve had a chance to meet a lot of my fans face-to-face and it made me realize that I’ve got a large fanbase of kids who look up to me. ?I realize now that I have a greater responsibility to the kids that want to be just like Soulja Boy. I need to set a positive example for them. ?I wouldn’t say a “role model” because I think that the parents or the guardians should be a kid’s main role mode but from now on, I’m gonna make sure that the kids who look up to me will get a positive image that the kids and the parents can trust.

Most celebrities try not to use the word “role model” but I don’t think I can help it though. When I meet parents and they tell me every city I go in ‘Soulja Boy my kids love you!’ I realize- you know – that I gotta do my thang…I gotta set a good example. ?I ain’t in no way perfect but I am clear that I gotta set a perfect example for all the kids that look up to me.?

Young Jeezy and his entire CTE staff hit up the Walmart on Old Nat-L last weekend for Hittmenn DJ’s 6th Annual Toyz N Da Hood toy drive. Jeezy, along with V-103’s Greg Street, shut the toy section down as they competed?against each other to see who could pile up the most toys in 60 seconds. Young Jeezy overwhelmingly defeated Greg Street and Street demanded a recount, stating that Jeezy cheated but it was all in fun. 🙂 ?The toys will be distributed to underprivileged children. Soulja Boy will add to the shopping spree on Friday at the same location.

I’m sorry to report that Tip won’t be releasing his “Swing Ya Rag” due to protests of copyright infringement from?Gucci?and?Louis Vuitton. ?

“We spoke to them. The video, it’s done. But I guess it’s one of those corporate things where they don’t wanna be associated or affiliated with a certain type of brand. A?T.I.?video ain’t the best look in their eyes right now. No harsh feelings.”?

I attended a listening party the other day that featured up and coming hot artists and decided to share with you a few of my video clips from the session. The first is Attitude’s single “Blow Ya Back Out.” It’s one of those songs you hear in passing that makes you stop in your tracks and say “What did he just say??” 😆 The lyrics may be a bit risque but it’s all good… dude made a song just for all us ladies who want their man to take control. T-Boz: “I’m not Homeless!”

Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins recently hit up Essence Magazine to address recent reports of her Georgia home being foreclosed:

Well, there have been reports that a Georgia property of yours is going into foreclosure. Is that true?
T-BOZ:?No, I’m not homeless. During my last marriage [to Mack 10], I had a bunch of things that were put in my name. If one of those properties is going into foreclosure then I don’t know. Although I’ve been divorced for five years, there are still a lot of things I’m dealing with on getting straight in that regard. All I know is that the house I live in with my daughter is not. When you pull up my name, my real house doesn’t show up because it’s not in my real name, because I enjoy my privacy and I’m not trying to have people be able to find me that easily.

There were also reports of you losing a home in Houston?
T-BOZ:?I’ve never owned a home in Houston. I closed a store in Houston, Chase’s Closet, where I sold girls and boys clothing from infants to 12 years. The store is named after my daughter, Chase. For now, I only have the online store (chasescloset.com).
