Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta took another opportunity to throw shade at her haters recently as she posed for a few shots with Supermodel Naomi Campbell.

As Marlo Hampton & Kenya Moore aka ~~dumb & dumber~~ Manlow & Krayonce sit around praying for her downfall, it seems Ms. Leakes is moving on up with yet another appearance on another network!

Campbell has often referred to Leakes as her favorite ‘housewife’ and when the two met in person for for the first time on the set of OxygenTV’s ‘The Face,’ it appears they had an instant connection.

An Atlanta woman got the surprise of her life recently when she asked media mogul Oprah Winfrey for the dress off of her back… and got it!

We all know Oprah is renowned for surprising her fans with cars, trips and gift bags, but this week the former talk-show queen gifted one of her Twitter followers with the actual designer dress she wore on a magazine cover.

When Atlanta resident Brandi saw Oprah Winfrey on the cover of Essence Magazine?s March issue, she fell so in love with the gown that she Tweeted the media mogul asking if she could have it.

Oprah responded to the request and as the adage goes… ‘Ask and you shall receive.’

Remember Jason Weaver, the actor who played ‘Teddy’ on ‘A.T.L,’ well he’s in the news this week after making a statement online that caused a bit of an uproar.

Weaver felt ‘some kinda way’ about the online celebrations sparked by rapper Lil Boosie’s release from Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola this past Wednesday.

And while many made jokes about the rapper becoming a social media trending topic, Jason Weaver took to his Instagram to target the ‘over the top’ reaction from Lil Boosie?s fans and family… calling it ?coon sh*t.?

…and this is coming from a person who was arrested for taking a dump in public.

After taking a week off for the Oscars, The Real Housewives of Atlanta finally aired it’s 17th episode of the 6th season last night (March 9, 2014).

The ladies move past the drama of episode 16’s ‘Bailey Bowl,’ as Kenya Moore plans a ‘couples’ get away to Mexico for her fellow ‘housewives.’

Seems an odd idea for Kenya to be planning a ‘couples’ trip since she isn’t actually part of a couple… but ummkay. Let’s roll with it.

Phaedra Parks is feeling some kinda way about bringing her husband Apollo Nida on another ‘couples’ vacation with Kenya.

Suddenly single Porsha Stewart is forced to revisit her failed marriage as Peter Thomas reveals he had a sit down with her ex-husband, Kordell Stewart and of course Kenya takes the opportunity to turn Porsha’s divorce into dinner conversation.

Just a week before the much-anticipated Jimi Hendrix biopic premieres at South by Southwest, footage of the film has emerged online.

[FLASHBACK: Andre 3000 Spotted on Set of Jimi Hendrix Project… (PHOTOS)]

A video teaser featuring Outkast member Andre 3000 Benjamin portraying Jimi Hendrix in the ‘All Is By My Side’ biopic was released online yesterday.

The clip shows a conversation between Hendrix (Andre 3000) and friend Linda Keith (Imogen Poots), as he attempts to convince her to run away with him behind his girlfriend?s back.

According to Rolling Stone, the film is scheduled to premiere in the U.S. Wednesday, March 12th in Austin, TX during SXSW and is expecting rave reviews.

[Sidebar: Word on the curb is that the film was written and directed by John Ridley, who recently won an Oscar for penning ’12 Years A Slave’.]
