Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been taking great advantage of all the publicity surrounding her husband’s incarceration.

Initially, Parks shared her story exclusively with Ellen DeGeneres (CLICK HERE if you missed that), but as the premiere date for RHOA season 7 approaches, she’s opening up more about the situation.

In a newly released interview with Access Hollywood Live, Phaedra opens up (again) about her incarcerated husband, whom she is RUMORED to have filed divorce from.

Phaedra explains to host Billy Bush, that she prefers to keep her relationship issues private, stating:

Although I live my life in public, I don’t obviously live everything in the public.

This is not due to just him being incarcerated, it’s a culmination of things. We are better and healthier individuals now that we are apart.

[Sidebar: I find it kinda odd that Phaedra says she wants to keep her relationship issues private, but then does media like Ellen and Access Hollywood. But I digress.]

Parks also sticks up for Porsha Williams (stating she feels Porsha was bullied during the reunion by Kenya Moore), and discusses the alleged affair with ‘Mr. Chocolate.’
