MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) ? Isaac Hayes, the pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless “Theme From Shaft” won Academy and Grammy awards, died Sunday, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said. He was 65.
A family member found Hayes unresponsive near a treadmill and he was pronounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, according to the sheriff’s office. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Hot couple Nelly & Ashanti were spotted in Houston this weekend at TJ’s DJ’s Tastemakers/DJ’s Music Conference. ?Bun B and his wife Queen were also spotted in the crowd. ?Ashanti was looking homegirl cute as usual but I guess she didn’t get the memo about black shirts and flashes. ?The photographer definitely knew what was up and chose not to warn Shanti about her peek-a-boo boobies. ?I wonder if Nelly’s as pissed about these as he was about the Body Tap flix?

Tip advised the youngsters that the “difference between those that make it and those that don’t is who willing to educate theyself. If you don’t know how much money you got coming to you ain’t nobody just gonna tell you what the deal is.” ?He also advised the kiddies that they can either do what it takes to be a winner or sit back and complain. “The choice is yours.”?
