Porsche Foxx, pictured above during the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta, has been terminated (yet again) from Atlanta radio station V-103. Program director Reggie Rouse sent an e-mail Wednesday informing staff of Foxx?s departure, and she has been removed from the list of DJs on the V-103 website. Her second stint as midday host lasted just over 16 months and although the station cites low ratings for the termination, sources say that the host may have failed a random drug test. Sean “Diddy” Combs unveiled his big “A”zzz “I Am King” billboard in New York City’s Times Square last week.?The ad features a tuxedo clad?Diddystanding next to the words?”I Am King.” Although, some have interpreted the ad as a statement of arrogance, Diddy says the phrase is not only about him…but for every man:
“I am really proud of the new billboard and of the message that it conveys to everyone who gets to see it,”?Diddy?said in a statement. “I Am King is not just about me, but every man. We are all descendants of kings. And if all men believe in that, we can accomplish anything. This image pays tribute to that belief, that ideal.”
The billboards will also appear in Los Angeles (view Sunset Blvd Ad) and Miami.
Dwight Eubanks, the most fabulous Atlanta Housewife of them all, is so addictive that I can’t imagine him not being added as an official 6th on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. ?My vote would be to replace Kim’s lying “A”zz with Dwight’s tangy one, if it weren’t for the fact that her presence lends a bit of trailer park flava to the ghetto-fabulosity. ?
By the way…blame Fresh (Crunk&Disorderly) for discovering that happy-go-lucky Christmas card flick of Mr. Eubanks above. ?She’s admitted to her fixation of his flowing locks…but me? I’m enamored by his never ending wisdom! ?Check out a video I found of Dwight giving advice to one of his female clients. I was almost cosigning until I realized he was telling her to leave no good men alone and try dating females 😕 : Continue Reading…
While most of us were feeding our faces with Cajun Turkey (I plead the fifth), T.I. was over at Turner Field on Thanksgiving Day assisting Hosea William’s Feed The Hungry Foundation. ?The event attracted nearly 22,000 needy Atlantans and fed all with no problems due to the generosity of several well known ATLiens. ?Tip was commended in raising nearly $100,000 within two hours on a local radio show Wednesday evening and Young Jeezy, was said to have donated $5,000 towards the event.
“I shouldn’t be but I’m amazed by their giving,” said Omilami, daughter of the late Hosea Williams. “I’ve been doing this for 39 years but I’ve never seen a year like this one in terms of donations.” (Source)
Bankhead Beef has taken another turn this week. ?After the Dirty Awards fights, Shawty Lo hit up VladTV?with an exclusive interview, straight from D4L studios. ?Lo takes the opportunity to speak about Big Kuntry King’s recent threat to release some taped phone conversations between the two of them. ?During his talk, he mentions how Kuntry is just all mouth and that he shouldn’t even be talking cause he’s one of the “lames” on the label. ?Lo spoke almost highly of TIp in the video above, he also recently told MTV news that ?he don’t know where Tip’s head is….but he ain’t the one to be disrespected: ??
?[Me and Tip’s conversation] ended on a positive note with the conversation,? Lo said. ?I don?t know where he is [with the beef]. I guess he just be talking. One thing about it, Shawty Lo ain?t no punk. T.I. is just a rapper. He knows how to read a book good. Where I live is for real. I ain?t got nothing against homes. He?s got family, I got family. I?m not trying to kill him, he?s not trying to kill me. I got fans that love me. He?s not not gonna run all over me. I ain?t Lil? Flip.?
Ummm….Ok. So who’s fighting now. ?Can somebody draw up a diagram or something cause I’m getting confused.
Polow Da Don and the entire Zone 4, Inc. crew held their 2nd annual Turkey GiveAway?Tuesday (Nov. 25th)?in Southwest Atlanta. ?In addition to receiving a free turkey, families were given the opportunity to enter a drawing to receive free rent/mortgage for a year. ?The crowd was astronomical as V-103s Greg Street did a live remote while Polow, Keri Hilson and Rich Boy all mingled amongst the crowd.
I cornered Polow for a lil one-on-one (get your minds out the gutter!) and he and I reminisced about growing up on the southside.??
