Tyra Banks has been sued for $3 million by the mother of a teen sex addict who appeared on her show.
According to the AJC, angry mother Beverly McClendon (of McDonough, Georgia), said her daughter answered an open call placed on Banks’ website last October. The show’s producers contacted the girl and invited her to appear as a guest. A month later, the teen allegedly flew unaccompanied to New York, where she was put up in a hotel in advance of her paid appearance on “Tyra,” which ceased production in May.
McClendon said she had no idea about her daughter’s television debut until it was too late.
In the suit, filed in federal court Oct. 8, McClendon frets that the episode “was undoubtedly watched by sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles alike,” and violated her daughter’s privacy.
She’s seeking $3 million in damages from Banks, her producers and Warner Bros. Entertainment. McClendon’s complaint also asserts that the teen’s right to privacy was violated, therefore she’s seeking an injunction against any future airings of the program, which still appears in repeats on the CW network.

After Saturday’s performance against Arkansas, Auburn Tigers quarterback Cam Newton has positioned himself to be the top Heisman candidate in the country.
Newton, a Westlake High School graduate, finished the day with 140 yards passing and ran for 188 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a 65-43 shootout win against the Razorbacks.
Newton definitely has the look of a top Heisman candidate.
Newton is fourth in the nation in rushing with 860 yards, he leads the nation in rushing touchdowns with 12 and is the nation’s second leading passer with a rating of 180.5, but the most important statistics of them is the fact that the Tigers are now 7-0 overall, 4-0 in the SEC, is ranked No. 4 in the BCS Standings and has a legitimate shot at a BCS National Championship.
Newton and the Auburn Tigers will be at home this Saturday facing the No. 6 ranked LSU Tigers in a game that has huge BCS implications…..(source)
Tameka ?Tiny? Cottle arrived to Federal court Friday (October 15th) in Atlanta to support her husband T.I. during his sentencing hearing stemming from the couple’s drug arrest in L.A. early last month.

Tiny was joined by BFF Monica, who graciously offered her shoulder to cry on after Tip was sentenced to return to federal prison for 11 months for parole violations.
Although it was a troubled time for the Harris family, Tiny held a strong appearance for her man, as she rocked a huge Gucci purse with a pair of stunning shoes to match.

After sitting out the last two games, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick may have just lost his starting job to the guy’s job he took after one week in the NFL season, Kevin Kolb.
Vick suffered a rib cartilage injury against the Washington Redskins, which forced Kolb to finish that game and start the next two games against the San Francisco49ers and the NFC South leading Atlanta Falcons.
Kolb has been great since taking over Vick with a 253 yard, one touchdown performance against the 49ers and a very impressive 326 yard, three touchdown performance this Sunday against the Falcons.
Now, the question in Philadelphia is, do we have another quarterback controversy?
Eagles head coach Andy Reid has made his commitment to Vick before these two performances by Kolb, but will it be enough to keep Kolb as the starter for the Eagles? (source)
Birdman made sure the cameras were rolling during the delivery of his new vehicle and shows off all the luxury car’s bells and whistles – including an adjustable spoiler and an ignition key that looks more like a Swiss army knife.
The video signs off with the MC/CEO taking his speedy car for a test spin, and Birdman wisely keeps the car under the speed limit…at least while the camera is still rolling.
