Then the phone calls started. A few of my blogger friends were like ‘wassup with this? so now we’re considered the BOTTOM of the media food chain?’

I had to think for a minute…. hmmm, maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe that’s how whoever created the show *cough* Mona Scott Young, thinks of bloggers, who, like myself, are opinionated, resourceful, and aren’t star struck when people like *cough* Mona call us on the phone to fuss about leaking story lines.
But I digress.
Shoot… I can’t speak for all blawgs, but I BREAK stories over here and have great relationships with many “mainstream” journalists at CNN, AJC, etc. who come to ME for the scoop.? I’ve done radio a few times, but it’s mostly local television news anchors who benefit from my stories and opposing views. But again… that’s just me.
I say all of that to say… in the first episode, “The Gossip Game” portrays bloggers as “ratchet,” “broke” and “messy” and while I may be one of the three on any given day of the week, all at one time is a bit much.
Then again… it’s all entertainment though… right? 😆
