Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta may not know how many days are in a year but she apparently knows how to count dough.

Just last week Kordell Stewart reportedly surprised, Porsha Stewart, his wife of 22 months by abruptly filing a divorce petition in Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court.

Many have speculated but no one knows for sure what exactly sparked Kordell’s decision to fill dem papers (cue Usher) but there’s been lots of talk abut Kordell’s “extracurricular” activities, especially since he’s reportedly refusing to give Porsha any type of alimony or spousal support.

In keeping with all the he say/she say, Porsha has hired Atlanta attorney Randy Kessler (who coincidentally filed Nene & Greg’s divorce, which we all know was on paper only… but I digress), to handle the situation and through her attorney she is now asking for monetary compensation for sacrificing almost 2 years under Kordell’s reign of terror roof.

According to TMZ, Porsha is returning fire against her estranged husband, Kordell, by filing an official response to his divorce docs.

In them, Porsha claims that she gave up her life to take care of Kordell and Tania Richardson’s son and she feels he needs to pay her for her time.

As you know, in documents filed last week by Stewart, he claims Porsha doesn’t deserve a dime in spousal support because she is capable of earning her own income… and while she doesn’t technically have a “job” her paid appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta could be considered as such.

Kordell may get away ?in the divorce scott free, but not before those pesky gay rumors resurface.

There’s been talk that he’s got a tranny lover in Stone Mountain (an Atlanta suburb) but no one has any solid proof.

There’s also talk that Kordell has been spending a bit of time with his son’s mother, Tania Richardson (who coincidentally appeared during season 1 of RHOA as a friend of Sheree Whitfield’s).

That rumor started when Kordell and Tania were spotted at Dave & Busters with their son recently ( PHOTO ).

Kordell and Tania were engaged for several years and word on the curb is that he cheated on her with Porsha, who he married only after a few months of dating.

Porsha’s attorney Randall Kessler has now answered Kordell’s petition, stating the marriage set her way back professionally because she quit her job for two years while they were married (and even sold her businesses) in order to?care for Kordell’s kid from another woman.

In the documents, there’s no mention of the fact that she’s currently starring on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and that she gets a hefty payment for each episode she appears.

Regardless of all that, Porsha feels she deserves alimony from Stewart and she also wants exclusive use of the family’s Atlanta home.

In a statement issued after receiving word of the divorce, Porsha admits that there were problems in the marriage, stating that she had “held off filing” because Kordell promised to work on their relationship.
