Dexter Scott King (far left), the youngest son of civil rights icons Coretta Scott King and the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., has finally found his queen.
King, chairman of the King Center, jumped the broom in a private ceremony held last Friday (June 12, 2013) in California, but reportedly of his family members attended the intimate ceremony.

Another day, another “Atlanta” reality show… 😯
Bravo recently announced that they will be airing a new “reality” show called “The New Atlanta” this fall.
The network, which is seeking to capture a younger/hipper audience with the show,? reportedly plan to introduce a much “younger” set of Georgia residents with the launch of The New Atlanta, (previously called “Taking Atlanta”).
The new unscripted show is Bravo’s 5th series set in the southern capital of Atlanta and will feature 5 cast members… Alexandra Dilworth, Emily Lipman, Africa Miranda, Tribble Reese and Jevon ?Vawn? Sims.
Bravo describes the new series as follows:
The series follows the next generation of the city’s trailblazing young professionals who are hungry to achieve their dreams and find love as they struggle to resolve heartbreaks from the past. Aggressive in both their professional and personal lives, each hopes to make their mark in the cutthroat industries of fashion, music, event planning and business while taking advantage of Atlanta’s hot social scene.
Their work-hard, play-hard attitudes give them each an edge over their peers, but their journeys are not without a few bumps, hurdles and heartache along the way.

Woman: “Doctor I have this nagging sharp pain and it’s getting worse and worse.”
Doctor: “Well… your butt is rather large. So it’s my professional opinion that you’re suffering from a ghetto booty”.
Woman: “A what!?” (the woman states in disbelief).
Doctor: “A ghetto booty… that type of thing is running rampant these days. Haven’t you seen Kenya Moore’s “home depot’ booty? It’s kind of like that but your’s is real.”
Clearly I just made all that up… 😯
but in “real life” a doctor in Tennessee recently diagnosed a woman suffering from lower back pain with “ghetto booty” and he’s issued a weak apology after she expressed her outrage to the media.

It’s no secret that Love and Hip Hop Atlanta has suddenly turned into The Kirk & Rasheeda Frost show and as the season winds down, it will be interesting to see what’s in store during the reunion show (which was taped last week).

The cute couple, who are “rumored” to be divorcing (insert side-eye) were hosts of the fashionable evening alongside fellow reality stars Cynthia Bailey and her hubby Peter Thomas of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
