Nick Gordon, 30, who was best known for his role as Whitney’s “adopted” son turnt Bobbi Kristina’s “husband” does of a suspected drug overdose on New Year’s day.

It’s only been 4 years since Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of the legendary Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, passed away from a drug overdose and now her former “husband” has followed the same deadly path as both she and her famous mother.

Gordon’s family members hit the net with the sad news yesterday.

Nick’s loved ones were informed of his death in the early morning hours of New Year’s day after doctors at Altamonte Springs Hospital in Florida were unable to revive him.

Gordon is a known drug abuser who notorious for the 2015 death of Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina spent six months in a coma after she was found unconscious in a bathtub with a slew of drugs in her system and Gordon was found legally responsible for her death.

TheDailyMail has revealed that Gordon, 30, had a series of heart attacks after he was rushed into intensive care in Florida amid New Year’s celebrations.  Gordon’s brother, Junior Walker shared the news on Facebook, shortly after the incident stating, ‘God why did I have to lose my brother on New Year!’

Gordon’s brother continued to grieve in a separate post which included several photos of the siblings as young children, stating:

“I love you so much big brother I hope you heard me talking to you at your bedside you are with me and I can feel it I love you I love you I love you watch over me and your nieces.”

“S— wasn’t suppose to go like this … you were [my] best friend and I never in a million years thought I’d be writing this for my ACE I was there through every step we all love you no matter what and we’ll all stay strong for you , New Years didn’t have to start like this and you just told me you HAD to see me for New Years but I’m blessed I got to talk to you last night you will forever be my best friend nobody will ever take your place.”

Gordon’s death is an eery reminder of Whitney Houston’s unfortunate death and the similar path of her daughter Bobbi Kristina.

I caught a lot of flack back in the day for labeling Gordon Bobbi Kristina’s “brother/husband” when they claimed to have eloped on January 9, 2019 after spending years together under one roof as brother and sister.

Gordon has always been a suspect in Bobbi Kristina’s unfortunate demise and while he never faced criminal charges, Gordon was subsequently found legally responsible for her wrongful death in a civil case.

An insider revealed to TheDailyMail that Gordon was heavily ingesting drugs on New Year’s eve with “friends” when he passed out. Those same “friends” reportedly dropped him off at a hospital and dashed.

‘It’s early days but the suggestion is he was taking drugs with friends and he passed out. They drove him to the hospital, took him inside and then left him there,’ said an insider.

‘Whatever you think of Nick and his lifestyle, it’s terribly sad that his supposed friends just dumped him and drove away.’
