NEWSFLASH!!! Michael N. Miller, Esq., the highly skilled Atlanta attorney who represents some of Atlanta’s biggest names and at least two of your favorite blogs, has been named to a special task force for the City of Atlanta!

Mr. Miller has been an integral part of my life for several years now both personally and professionally, so I’m more than excited to report about his involvement in our city’s future.

SandraRose spotted Mr. Miller’s name in an AJC article recently as he was listed among several legal professionals named to a special task force.

Chief Judge Portis of the Municipal Court of Atlanta announced the formation of a new improvement task force to develop a comprehensive Report and Recommendation for the Court after the city was hit by a malicious cyber-attack in March.

Michael Miller one of the legal experts selected to join the group, which also consists of a representative from the Mayor?s Office, as well as professions from court operations and the business community.

The cyber-attack crippled the Municipal Court that handles cases such as traffic citations, expired tags, DUIs, city code violations and minor criminal offenses and hackers demanded $51,000 to release computer files and court case records.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Atlanta?s acting COO originally considered paying the ransom but now refuse to bow to the strong arm tactics of the anonymous keyboard gangsters. So far, the city has paid over $2 million to clean up the mess.

Attorney Miller has been an integral part of my professional and personal life for many years now and I’m confident that his addition to the City’s task force is at least a step in the right direction.
