NEWSFLASH! R. Kelly is not here for your probing questions about his personal life!
The 48-year-old R&B superstar recently sat down for a Huffington Post interview to with Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani to promote his most recent body of work, ‘Buffet,’ and things didn’t go quite as planned.
That dreaded #AskRKelly hashtag began trending once again with numerous questions and comments about Kelly’s child molestation allegations popped up as expected.

For whatever reason, it seems that Kellz feels that his music will make us all forget about his scandalous past… not gonna happen boo!
While R. Kelly certainly dodged a bullet by avoiding jail time in his case, he’s been labeled as a predator and that’s not going to go away anytime soon.
I can confess to bobbing my head to ‘Backyard Party,’ but that doesn’t change the fact that when I hear a story about R. Kelly sneaking young girls into his Atlanta hotel room, I’m not surprised. Sadly, we’ve been desensitized to the issue but ‘desensitizing’ doesn’t negate the fact that he took advantage of a minor.
Time has a way of healing old wounds but the scars that remain are a constant reminder of the incident and walking out of interviews is not going to help Kelly’s cause. The questions still remain and his next interview will be that much worse.
If R. Kelly wants people to ‘only focus on the music’, maybe he should take some time to publicly focus on answering questions that many of his fans have been asking for years.
Whatever the case… life goes on and while many are still going to be bounce, bounce, bounce, bouncing to the remix of ignition and/or the new tunes on ‘Buffet,’ they are also still going to be giving Kellz the side-eye for walking out on the tough questions.
