Shortly after the news that Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a brothel near Las Vegas broke, there were numerous reports that his former teammate, Kobe Bryant, had rushed to his bed side.

Well, Master P (real name Percy Miller) isn’t buying all that chatter and he says he feels that Bryant is a big fat phony!

Miller, who has a 15 year friendship with Odom, says if Kobe was genuine, he would have put in a good word to the Lakers to get Lamar his job back on the team!

“If Kobe was his friend…Kobe, like, owns the team,” Master P told TMZ. “He could’ve got the man back on the team…that’s all he wanted.”

Master P also shares his thoughts about Lamar’s Kardashian connection, stating that Odom’s stint on their reality show may have gotten him blackballed!

Odom’s downward spiral began shortly after the Lakers traded him to the Dallas Mavericks in December 2011.

The rap mogul added that although Odom loved Khloe Kardashian, he didn’t know what he was getting into by marrying her.?

P believes that the former forward was blackballed from returning to the league after being on reality TV with ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians‘.

As of Thursday, there are reports that Odom was using cocaine at the Vegas brothel he was found at and he is still fighting for his life.

The NY Daily News quoted a source who said, ?They were worried about his kidneys. They were failing today, but they gave him dialysis. His doctors think he could be OK. He is still critical, in ICU. So, anything can happen.?

The outpouring of support continues as Odom remains in critical condition.
