The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s 8th season hasn’t even started yet, but the net is abuzz nonetheless about it’s brand new additions.

Just last week the group shot above was released that revealed a new addition to the cast (click HERE if you missed that).

I speculated that the new chick could be actress Tammy McGarity, but in fact she’s been identified as another ‘Tammy’… Tammy McCall Browning.

Several commenters dropped the dime last week that ‘Tammy’ is Tammy McCall Browning and I even received the following email about me inaccurately identifying Browning as Tammy McGarity- Von Nordheim.

I love your site girl but you got it wrong about the new wife!! The lady in the picture isn’t Tammy Von Whatever it is Tammy McCall Browning.

Tammy?s son is Freedom Augmon aka rapper Freco, aka Lil Soulja, Hot Cheeto Head, or I Hate Freco. His father is former Atlanta Hawks player, Stacey Augmon. Freco told me about his mom testing for Atl housewives a while back and cameras have been following her around for months.

He was really upset when you posted that his mom was some other lady!

Tammy graduated from Spelman and is a dancer.? She also owned a couple of local tennis clinics (that photo you have was her on the tennis court).

Another one of my friends confirmed that ‘Tammy’ is Tammy McCall-Browning and yes… I can admit when I’m wrong.? For the record, I’m just as unimpressed by all these random ‘newbies’ as you guys are and I clearly dropped the ball on this one.

At any rate, I’ve met Tammy McCall-Browning on several occasions around town, but I’m not sure who her association is on the show.? I would assume it’s Sheree Whitfield, being that I met Tammy through Sheree’s ex-husband Bob, who was trying to help her with her son’s rap career a few months back.

Tammy’s son, Freco, released the ‘Official Drop Dance’ video last year that has about 5 million views online (click HERE to watch).

I’m not sure if Tammy officially has a peach but both she and Shamea Morton (the other ‘newbie for this season (click HERE to read about her))took photos for RHOA opening scenes last week.? (Just as an aside, both Demetria & Claudia took opening photos last season and only Claudia got a peach).

Whatever the case… strike Tammy McGarity off the list and add Tammy McCall-Browning as the newest cast member for season 8.
