The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 14th episode of it’s explosive 7th season last night (February 15, 2015).

This week, we catch up with Phaedra as she prepares for Apollo’s extended vacation, everything else that happened on this episode was pretty much irrelevant.

Bravo synopsis:

Apollo shares some shocking information about Phaedra with Peter. Kandi and Todd’s issues start to show up in the bedroom. Claudia grows frustrated with Porsha’s attitude at work, while Kenya begins casting for her TV show. Apollo confronts Phaedra face to face one final time.

This week’s episode focused way too much on Kenya and Claudia (zzzzzz) but Phaedra and Apollo’s drama balanced things out just a tad bit.

VIDEO: RHOA Season 7, Episode 14 “Hello Mr. Chocolate”

Africans must be in this year…

As Apollo prepares to turn himself in the serve his prison sentence, it seems he wants to stir up a bit of controversy for his wife, Phaedra.

It was just a few weeks prior to the taping of this episode that Apollo was talked into filming that fateful scene with Kenya Moore where he reportedly ‘admitted’ he lied.

But I was there that night, and as I’ve stated before, Apollo only did what he did to stick a fork in Phaedra’s side because he was hurt that she wasn’t standing by him in court.

Now comes the rumors about Phaedra dating an ‘African’ named Mr. Chocolate… it’s interesting to me that Cynthia Bailey & Peter Thomas would choose to even participate in spreading the rumor being that they BOTH have been around Apollo at the bar and knows how HE gets down.

My only issue is the blatant double standards. I mean… Apollo can hang out til all hours of the night… Spend thousands at the strip club… but Phaedra can’t TEXT a dude? Child please.

Even with that, two wrongs don’t make a right, but don’t condemn one without the other!

Also one of Pheadra’s besties is stripper White Chocolate and maybe she was texting her? Who knows. Whatever the case, Apollo’s credibility is questionable being that he has nothing to lose by telling a lie.

Bravo Fun Fact: If the ‘Mr. Chocolate’ rumor were true, this would be the third Atlanta ‘Wife linked to an invisible African man.

But I digress.

Claudia just can’t get enough of Porsha…

Is Claudia a lezzbun? Not that it matters one way or the other who she choose to sex up, but it seems like Miss Jordan has an attraction of some sort to Porsha.

Ricky Smiley makes a guest appearance as he tries to mediate between his two employees, but even that segment was just a bit of free promo to Dish Nation. It meant nothing and nothing came of it.

Claudia’s fixation with having a ‘friendship’ with the person who’s peach she stole is interesting to say the least, but I guess without Porsha, Claudia would have nothing.

And with that… I have nothing more to say about her, so… moving on.

Sex Toys in The Kitchen?

Kenya Moore keeps a stash of sex toys in her kitchen cabinet. Is that odd? Sure. But she’s an odd chick.

As for her storyline, it’s odd as well because now she has no one to terrorize.

Nene is out of town doing Cinderella, Phaedra is dealing with her family issues, Claudia is obsessing over Porsha’s store bought booty, and Cynthia? Well Cynthia can’t be terrorized because she’s on the same team.

Then there’s Demetria McKinney… who has disappeared into obscurity and her ‘boyfriend’ of 8 years Roger Bobb, who doesn’t seem to want to be associated with a ‘Kenya Moore’ project.

Kenya has no one but Brandy and Aunt Sysquo to keep her company and their all snoozefests. I won’t even bother writing about her… except to say that she should have tried that ‘production’ storyline her first season instead of what we’re praying will be her last.

But again… I digress.

Are Kandi & Todd Having Issues?

Kandi and Todd seem to be bumping heads now that Mama Joyce has backed away.

It would seem like the ideal relationship situation now that there’s no in-law drama, but Todd has been spending a lot of time away from home and Kandi is concerned.

With the failure of their ‘A Mother’s Love’ stage play looming over their heads, Kandi is dealing with a lot of stress business-wise and Todd is choosing to focus more time on projects in L.A.

Their sex life is suffering (once a week!) and it seems that things between them aren’t in-sync.? Kandi is concerned that Todd may be cheating but with no solid proof, it could be that Todd simply needs some time to regroup.

The calm before the storm…

Apollo is supposed to be on his way to jail but he shows up at Phaedra’s house on the day he’s supposed to be turning himself in and he’s PISSED OFF that his garage door opener won’t work. *sigh*

Apollo is also upset that Phedra is changing the locks (even though he’s going to be gone for 8 years) and also mutters something about her moving his clothes from the laundry room to his drawer.

It seems Apollo is delusional about the amount of time that he’ll be gone and it’s sad that his wife isn’t supporting him during his time of need, but his requests seem a bit absurd.

Why is Apollo mad that his keys won’t work?? Dude… you can’t use the keys anyway and who can blame Phaedra for changing the locks when she has no clue whose hands Apollo’s keys will end up?

Phadra calls Apollo’s friend ‘BUN’ (hi Bun 🙂 ) to come and calm Apollo and asks him to get him safely to his destination without incident.? Apollo finally leaves, but not before giving Bravo cameras a show.

It’s a sad situation all around and I pray for the family.? Those boys are adorable.
