The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 12th episode of it’s 7th season last night (January 25, 2015).

This week’s episode is titled ‘Beauties in the Fast Lane,’ as ‘Team Pretty Petty’?(Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Claudia Jordan), spends a bit of time together on the road. Phaedra Parks tends to her legal career while her husband, Apollo Nida, prepares to turn himself in to serve his jail time.

Meanwhile, Nene Leakes spends some quality time with her supportive hubby & Kandi & Todd get the green light to expand their family after going through fertility testing.

Home again…

After returning to Atlanta from the latest ‘girl’s trip’, NeNe reflects upon the drama in Puerto Rico with her husband Gregg.

As the couple shares a long drive home from the airport, Nene contemplates the division amongst the group, as her husband Gregg lends a supportive ear.

During the drive, Nene admits that she went a bit too far by talking about Claudia’s sexual past, but feels having to apologize 15/20 times was a bit much.

On the other side of town, Cynthia is recapping the events with her husband Peter and sister Mallorie, and in stark contrast to Gregg (who merely allows his wife to vent about the trip), Peter shares his opinion about the events, saying that Claudia had every right not to accept Nene’s apology.

Friendship Contract Officially Terminated…

As Cynthia discuss the recent drama in Puerto Rico with her husband and sister, she realizes her friendship with NeNe is over and done.

Mallorie inquires about the infamous ‘Friendship Contract’ between Cynthia and her former friend and Peter reveals that she still has it somewhere.

Upon further inspection, Mallorie finds the contract neatly filed amongst her sisters documents ?and she can’t believe that Nene actually signed the document.

As a sign that she means business, Cynthia burns the last remnants of she and Nene’s once unbreakable bond.

But is this REALLY the end? ?I don’t think so….

Married to Medicine meets RHOA…

In a ‘blended family’ moment, Kandi and Todd visit Dr. Jackie (of Married to Medicine) to??discuss their concerns about possible infertility.

Apparently Kandi’s already been tested and she has been cleared now it’s Todd’s turn.

Todd visits Dr. Jackie’s ‘masturbatorium’ in order to share a sample of his sperm and the Dr. also offers the newlyweds several steps to take towards their goal of conceiving a child.

Good news! Todd’s tadpoles are active and the couple shares the news with their extended family about their plans to expand. Kandi really wants a baby boy in the family, since they already have to girls between them.

In the meantime, Kandi enlists the help of her 11 year old in creating her ovulation calendar. ?*sigh* ?That seems kinda awkward to me, but I guess the family that plans together, stands together… but I digress.

Riley seems to think her 38 year-old mom is too old for a newborn, while Todd’s 18 year old daughter, Kaela, wouldn’t mind a new sibling… especially considering Riley hasn’t been too keen on playing the ‘kid sister’ role.

Hair Weave & Prison Sentences…

Phaedra contacts celebrity hairstylist Derek J. (Fashion Queens) to give him an update about his ‘stolen weave’ lawsuit.

Phaedra reveals she has filed a countersuit on Derek’s behalf, due to the fact that his business has been affected due to his accusers outlandish claims that he stole the weave right out of her head.

While Phaedra is working her legal magic, her husband Apollo is facing the?reality of his?impending return to prison.

Apollo spends times with his two young sons, Ayden & Dylan, and tries to prepare them for his departure.

Nida shares in a confessional, how helpless he feels trying to explain the situation to the two young boys, equating it to being in prison.

He also shares a heartfelt message that his sons can hear when they’re ready, emotionally stating:

Ayden & Dylan, I’m sorry that this happened. I’m sorry that I put myself in a position to be taking away from you, but it’s not forever.

I’ll be home soon… and hopefully you can come see me.

Corvette > Mini-Van…

It’s official. Kandi definitely knows how to give a good birthday present and as proof, she surprises her hubby with a brand new customized corvette!

For some reason, Todd doesn’t seem to happy about the new wheels. ?Could it be that Kandi’s hubby thinks a 2-seater sports car is an odd gift for someone preparing for a infant?? ?It’s hard to say what was on Todd’s mind, but even Kandi noticed, stating during her confessional:

I wanted him to get excited. He makes me wanna take this dayum thing back…

Team Petty Takes A Road trip…

Kenya and Claudia join Cynthia for a road trip to Charlotte, where Peter Thomas is hosting the grand opening of his new bar venture.

I don’t know how Cynthia & Claudia managed to keep their wits about them with Kenya Moore yelling & screaming in the back of the car for hours, but they did.

Cynthia hoped there would be a few eligible bachelors at Sports One for her two single friends and she brought along a few outfits for Claudia, who she reveals is a bit challenged in the fashion department.

The ladies?finally make it to ‘Sports One’ and alongside Peter is his new business partner, Kordell!

Kenya… (the president of Team Petty) pushes Claudia on Kordell, because what better revenge to Porsha’s dragging her across that reunion show stage, would it be for Kenya to hook Claudia up with Kordell? ?Especially since Kordell admits he’s single and ready to mingle!

Claudia reveals that she met Kordell way before Porsha and they reminisce about old times and even take a few selfies. Jordan also reveals that while she would normally NOT indulge in such petty behavior, she’s certainly not opposed to it.

On the other hand, Kenya’s petty behavior is pretty surprising considering she was insinuating that the ex-footballer was gay all last season.
