Another week, another episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta aka ‘As The Hood Turns’. The 13th episode of the docu-drama’s explosive 3rd season aired last night (July 21, 2014).

Synopsis:

In Episode 13 of ?Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta? Season 3, Mimi scores a spot on the cover of Stevie?s magazine thanks to her newfound fame, to Joseline?s chagrin.

Meanwhile, Kalenna and Tony make a stunning discovery, and Bambi receives an interesting proposition from Scrappy.

Mimi Faust Thinks She’s Kim Kardashian…

Benzino thought it would be a good idea to feature Mimi on the cover of his Hip-Hop Weekly magazine. Considering the fact that Mimi’s sex tape has her name buzzing like a broken doorbell, there’s no question that featuring his co-star on the cover of his mag could sell a few extra copies.

Mimi and her new ‘manager’ Dawn meet with Benzino at his HHW office to discuss his offer and she demands to be paid $10,000 to cover the mag. Here’s the thing, Benzino simply wants her cooperation for an interview and a photo shoot, he’s not going to PAY her for the honor of covering his magazine (WhereDeyDoThatAt??)

Mimi clearly thinks her sex tape has turned her into Kim Kardashian or somebody, so she threatens to sue Benzino if he puts her on the magazine without paying her and storms out.

[Sidebar: He shoulda laughed in ol girl’s face when she asked for payment. As a public figure, HHW certainly doesn’t need her permission to put her on the cover and anyone lawyer would tell her her that.]

Oh well… moving on.

Scrappy Puts a Ring on Da Bambi…

Scrappy decides to get all romantic and takes Bambi to the ‘forest’ (as she calls it) for a nice secluded picnic.

A few weeks ago, Scrappy gave Bambi a puppy, this week, he’s upped his game with a little black box.

It’s a ring but it’s not an engagement ring, it’s a promise ring.

When Scrappy tells Momma he gave ‘Da Bambi’ a ring she goes ballistic but seems to calm down when he tells her it’s merely a promise ring. She’s still upset he made such a move without her ?permission.?

Friends & Sex Tapes Don’t Mix…?

Now that her sex tape has been officially released, Mimi has decided to make the best of it. She’s moving on with her life and living in her truth but her friends are still having a hard time with her decision.

Erica Dixon decides she’s going to finally tell Mimi how she feels about the tape, but she chooses the wrong time to do so. Mimi?s father has a stroke in New York and she’s preparing to travel to New York to see about him.

Just before Mimi leaves town, Erica come over to give her the ‘business’ about her sex tape. Erica is hurt, disgusted and has even shed tears over Mimi’s decision to whore herself out for the masses. She’s a mother too, and her heart bleeds for Mimi’s daughter, Eva.

Erica doesn?t believe it is a home video as Mimi has said, and it’s not, but Mimi is sticking to her story.

?The only thing I can do is move the f*** forward,? Mimi says.

Baby on Board…

Kalenna (Dirty Money) is pregnant by her hubby Tony. Coincidentally their house/studio is covered in mold, so they get to expand their location since their current spot isn’t the healthiest place to raise a family…

JoJo Dancer Feels Disrespected…

When Joseline Hernandez sees the cover of the magazine she goes ballistic! Why? Because her centerfold feature is overshadowed by Mimi’s sex tape coverage.

She confronts Stevie J and while Benzino told him about considering Mimi for the cover, it seems he went ahead with it without consulting Stevie on the final decision.

Stevie seems as shocked as Joseline that Mimi is covering the magazine. His ‘partner’ didn’t give him the heads up and now he has to deal with more hell from his ‘wife’.

Stevie J is already skating on thin ice with JoJo about all the Althea drama and his baby mama on the cover of the magazine nearly pushes Joseline to the edge.

She dramatically rips up the magazine and leaves Stevie?s music studio in disgust.

Round table sex tape discussion…

Mimi, Ariane, Rasheeda and Erica all get together to talk about the sex tape.

All of Mimi’s friends just want her to come clean about the production of the tape. Clearly it’s a movie and not some homemade sex tape as she’s professed.

Mimi claims Vivid, the sex tape distributor, made it look like a movie due to clever editing.

?They cut it and slowed it down and added music to make it look fancy,? she explains…. (chile bye!)

Mimi’s friends are still skeptical about her ?leaked? the tape, but they let her stick with her story and move on.
