The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s 6th season FINALLY came to an end last night (April 13, 2014).

Season 6 has been long as heck, so as far as I’m concerned episode 22 was nothing but a space filler since we’re all anxiously anticipating the drama filled reunion show.

But I digress…

This week Kenya Moore is still mourning her dearly departed (or relocated) pet, Velvet the dog. Cynthia Bailey and her husband are still working out their issues in the boudoir, Phaedra Parks finally completes her mortuary sciences degree, Porsha Stewart is making career moves by working in Kandi’s Play and Kandi & Todd prep for their wedding special by proving that they can work together as a team to produce a play.

Life Lesson #1 – Show up to work with a smile. Even for a ‘fake’ dog funeral…

With no foreseeable storyline in sight, it seems that Kenya Moore is milking her dog’s death for all it’s worth.

It’s been 2 seasons and we still haven’t met Moore’s invisible African prince, so it’s not a stretch that people are questioning if her dog is even dead.

That being said… Cynthia Bailey joins Moore and her Auntie Sisquo for a memorial service for Velvet the Dog. Kenya takes her crew, along with Velvet’s ashes way cross town to Stone Mountain, Georgia to all stand around while she boo-hoo’d over her fallen companion.

I don’t know about you… but did you notice Cynthia’s smirk. I swear she was tryna keep it all under control during the filming.

Even her dog Bailey was over it…. but I guess a job is a job.

Moving on…

Life Lesson #2 – Relationships are hard work. So work hard if you want to maintain the relationship.

Phaedra Parks has finally passed all of her courses for her mortuary sciences degree and her husband Apollo and their adorable son Ayden bring her a cake to celebrate her accomplishment.

Now that Phaedra is done with school, Apollo is concerned about their next steps.

Phaedra says that now she wants to start a crematorium, which further indicates that she will have even less time to dedicate to her husband.

Who knows… maybe Ms. Parks can balance it all.

Life Lesson #3 – If the spark even leaves your relationship, ignite it with roses and a black & mild.

Cynthia and Peter have been going through it the past few months.

The couple is facing a possible foreclosure of their popular Bar One restaurant through no fault of their own (click HERE if you missed that), and Cynthia has even been accused of some shady business herself…

While most of the issues seem to be just a string of bad financial luck, it seems the stress of their everyday could be causing a rift in the bedroom.

Now that Cynthia has rid herself of her fibroid tumors, she’s on a mission to reignite the spark that seems to have gone out in the bedroom, so she plans a ‘red hot’ evening for her hubby.

For richer or for poorer, things are going to work out for these two.

LIFE LESSON #4 – No money, mo problems…

Porsha Stewart Williams didn’t get a dime in her divorce from her ex-NFL baller husband Kordell Stewart but that hasn’t stopped her from living the fabulous life.

It’s just days before the debut of Kandi’s musical, and ticket sales are far from booming. Porsha is catching flack from Kandi’s stage manager for missing rehearsals but it seeems she’s finally redeemed herself by opening night.

Porsha performs without a hitch and it seems she may finally be on the right track to moving on and moving up.

LIFE LESSON # 5 – Teamwork makes the dream work…

Kandi and her fiancee Todd have worked together for months to pull off Kandi’s first musical stage play production.

The play premieres to a star studded audience, which included the likes of Tyler Perry, Stevie J,? and all of Kandi’s RHOA cast mates (except Nene Leakes – who was hospitalized at the time for blood clots).

Kandi’s dad, stepdad and Mama Joyce are all in the audience as well, and it seems that the drama may finally over for the couple.

Mama Joyce seems proud of Kandi’s accomplishment and Kandi’s dad even notices how Todd looks at his daughter with love.

The episode ends with the cute couple kissing under the marque, which was a great set up for Kandi’s upcoming wedding special.
