The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 16th episode of the 6th season last night (February 23, 2014).

The battle between the ‘Very Rich’ Nene Leakes and easy greasy beautiful cover girl former Miss USA Kenya Moore has been brewing for quite some time now….

And the tension that started during last week’s Masquerade Ball continues this week at Cynthia Bailey’s Bailey Bowl.

Bravo’s synopsis of the episode is as follows:

Still reeling from Peter and NeNe’s argument at Kenya’s masquerade ball, Cynthia is worried their conflict will have repercussions on her friendship with NeNe. With his surprise birthday party looming ahead, it’s unclear if NeNe will be a no-show.

Meanwhile, Kenya seeks answers from Marlo after NeNe’s over the top display at her charity event, and decides to confront NeNe about her actions.

As Porsha prepares for her role in Kandi’s musical, NeNe offers her acting tips and also begins to question Kenya and Marlo’s new friendship.

Hoping to move on from all the recent drama, Kenya invites the girls to a couples trip “do-over” in Mexico.

At Cynthia’s “Bailey Bowl” fitness event, the light-hearted day turns dark when Marlo and NeNe square off in front of a packed crowd ? leaving a confused Kenya caught in the middle of their shattered friendship.

Sounds about right.

LIFE LESSON #1 – Fake friends can’t help repair fake friendships…

It seems Marlo Hampton has officially switched teams and is now on #TeamKenya.? As I revealed a few months back, Hampton, who was one of Nene’s ‘bride-maids’ wasn’t getting enough camera time with Ms. Leakes so she decided to it would benefit her more to be a ‘friend’ to Kenya Moore.

This week it seems Hampton feels she can ‘help’ Kenya get back into Nene’s good graces, but when Nene sees her at Cynthia’s surprise birthday bash for Peter, the tension could be cut with a knife (did you notice those fake hugs?!?)

It seems Marlo’s presence did more harm than good because Nene clearly feels betrayed at this point.

Nene hit the tweets today and addressed ‘Manlow’ and ‘Krayonce’ blooming relationship, stating:

LIFE LESSON #2 – When all else fails, befriend the friendless…

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, you will rarely see Kenya filming a scene with any one of the ladies individually.

It’s because of that sad fact that Marlo was recruited by the former beauty queen to be her ‘friend’ on the show.

Mugshot Marlo and Koo-Koo Kenya seem to be spending quite a bit of time together.

While it’s clear that their ‘relationship’ is a match made in reality show heaven, it’s also clear that Hampton wasn’t much a ‘friend’ to Leakes anyway.

Marlo and Kenya’s new ‘friendship’ works for the benefit of them both.? Marlo has a new ‘entry point’ to film on RHOA and Kenya has an actual female ‘friend’ on the show.

These two deserve each other.

LIFE LESSON #3 – Always help the ‘helpless’…

Porsha and Nene get together for a little one on one time this week.

As you know, Porsha has secured a spot in Kandi’s upcoming musical and apparently Nene has chosen to give her a few acting tips.

It seems that Nene has decided to pack up ‘Nay Nay’ for a while and has chose to be kinder and gentler these days.

Let’s see how long that lasts.

LIFE LESSON #4 – When at first you don’t succeed at kissing ‘A’zz… try, try again.

Kenya enlists Miss Lawrence for a tea party (Marlo must have been busy) and she reveals that she’s planning a ‘girl’s trip’.

It seems that her conversation with Nene was promising and Kenya wants to do something else to improve her relationships within the group.

Moore has crossed just about every one of her fellow cast mates, yet she continues to play the victim in every situation.

Kenya’s recent attempt at coming for Nene backfired on her (in a big way)…

But have no fear, Miss Ratchet USA has more up her sleeves in upcoming weeks.? A girl’s trip to Mexico? Let’s see how that works out…

LIFE LESSON #5 – There’s no ‘I’ in ‘Team’ but letters don’t matter if you cheat anyway…

The ladies all get together for a few team building exercises at Cynthia Bailey’s 1st annual ‘Bailey Bowl’ event.

Funky Dineva and Derek J appear as referees for the RHOA teams which include Cynthia’s ‘Team Cynthia,’ Nene’s ‘Team Rich,’ Phaedra’s ‘Team Real,’ Kenya’s Team Twirl, Kandi’s ‘Team Kandi,’ and Porsha’s ‘Team Naked.’

Porsha’s Team Naked gets the party started by twerking for the crowed but when Team Kandi showed up with a crew full of former Olympic it seems came ready to win.

Nene and Kandi each display their competitive spirits and they both end up mad at the referees. Kandi even accused everyone of cheating after she loses due to a technicality.

?”If you don’t beat me following the rules then you really didn’t beat me… that’s how I look at it.”

LIFE LESSON #6 – When all else fails, fake cry on the shoulder of your fake friend….

Things get heated at The Bailey Bowl when Marlo approaches NeNe and her very rich team to inquire about why she wasn’t invited to be on ‘Team Rich’.

Hold up… wait! Didn’t Martavious? Marlo do the thing when Sheree Whitfield didn’t invite her out in Africa? Why is it that Marquez Marlo feels she’s entitled to every invite? *sigh*

But I digress.

Nene already made it blatantly clear on more than one occasion that she’s not featuring Marlo anymore. Period.

And when Marlo feels the need to ‘turn up’ for the cameras during the Bailey Bowl and approaches Nene as if they were still cool… NayNay almost comes out!

Nene manages to keep her cool and refuses to engage with Marlo on camera. ?Nene’s friend Lexxi also provides a great buffer.

Marlo attempted to FORCE Nene to engage in conversation and she got more and more enraged when Nene gives her the silent treatment throughout the entire event.

Nene leaves the event while Marlo trails behind her yelling and screaming like a madmanwoman!

The scene ends with Mugshot Marlo ‘pretend crying’ to KooKoo Kenya about how she looked up to Nene because ‘she’s older,’ ‘a mother figure’ etc…
