Retired NFL player Chuck Smith is feeling the heat surrounding his comments about dating Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

But wait… instead of just shutting up and allowing the fervor surrounding his chauvinistic statements die down, it seems Chuckie wants to ‘clear the air’ about his comments (dumb move Chuck!).

In an effort to clarify his statements, Chuck has stuck his foot in his mouth (yet again).?[Sidebar: If someone is consulting Smith about all this, they should be fired… fast! ?But I digress.]

As you know, on last week’s episode of RHOA Kandi & Phaedra revealed that the girls had been talking about Smith’s small package (click here if you missed that) and now it seems he’s out for revenge by further downplaying his involvement with the two successful ‘housewives.’

Smith even goes so far as to call Parks an ‘Ugly Duckling’…. *sigh*

Anywho… here’s what Chuck Smith wants you to know about his comments about Phaedra and Kandi:

According to an exclusive statement Smith provided to?Gossip Extra, it’s ‘unfortunate’ that he got caught out there and it’s ‘unfortunate’ that he wasn’t more honest with his wife about his dating history.

Chuck states:

?I should have talked about them (Phaedra and Kandi) in a different way. And I should?ve given my wife a little more information about them. It?s just unfortunate I got caught in this situation.?

?Why is what I did at 27 that important. It should be about what I do now, teaching the art of the pass rush and how to be a good NFL rookie. I?ve been surprised at all these attacks, which are more directed at my wife than me.?

Smith says he hooked up with Kandi because ?she was nice? and ?her momma cooked good food.? ?But we were in a lifestyle of entertainment,? Smith said. ?I had four girls in every corner of the stadium.?

Lies. 😯

Kandi even had a key to his home and spoke about it in her interview with Big Tigger last week (click HERE to watch video).

Chuck then goes in on Phaedra, apparently in retaliation for her ‘bite size brownies’ comment, stating:

?Phaedra was just the ugly ducking from the sixth grade,? he said. ?It?s unfortunate she got caught up in this.?

No. What’s ‘unfortunate’ is that po lil Mynique (pronounced MO-nique) got caught off guard on national television about your past Mr. Smith. ?But what do I know. *shrug*

At any rate, Chuck’s still stuck looking like a grade “A” Azzzz by releasing this new statement and he has only himself to blame.
