The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired it’s 8th episode of the 6th season last night (December 22, 2013).

During the episode, entitled ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past,‘ we get a glimpse of Porsha Stewart Williams’ limited knowledge of Black history as the ladies tour historic Savannah, Georgia.

We also find out that Atlanta is a really small place when it comes to dating!

After a rocky start, the ladies finally get on the road and, as expected NeNe?s friend, Mynique bumps heads with her husband’s rumored exes Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks.

After a day of sightseeing in historical Savannah, the ladies gather for cocktails only to learn the truly juicy history actually lies between Mynique’s husband Chuck Smith and at LEAST two of the Atlanta ‘housewives’.

Life Lesson #1 – Your ‘legacy’ doesn’t determine your intelligence.

Porsha Stewart Williams’ lack of knowledge about The Underground Railroad came as a surprise to many, especially considering her grandfather was the late, great Hosea Williams!

Porsha was totally clueless as to how the ‘train’ on the Underground Railroad functioned and while both Phaedra and Kandi attempted to help her understand, she just didn’t ‘get it’.

We can beat this dead horse, but for what? She’s dumb and I get dumber everytime I type about her.

Life Lesson #2 – Before you throw shade, learn how to read

Mynique (pronounced ‘MO’nique) Smith throws a lot of shade to be a B character, but she doesn’t know how to reeeeeeead.

Mynique threw shade at Kenya… (calling her cray-cray) and it went way over Kenya’s head.? But when she tried to come for Phaedra, she got read!

Nene clearly should have taught her friend the art of ‘reading’ but it seems she left that act of kindness for Cynthia Bailey, who took Mynique under her wing and even gave her some makeup tips.

I think Mynique is a lil too nice for this crew! She needs about a month of? ‘reading’ lessons from a good judy (i.e. gay friend) before she can fit in, but I’m rooting for her!

Life Lesson #3 – Who’s dated who doesn’t matter when everyone’s dated everyone.

Chuck Smith was once a hot NFL player. As one of the most eligible bachelors on The Atlanta Falcons back in the day, he dated quite a few ladies in and around the Atlanta area.? But that was 20 years ago… so who really cares?

Truth be told, a close friend of Smith’s revealed to me that the only ‘housewives’ Chuck hasn’t ‘been with’ are Porsha and Cynthia.? That would mean that he’s kicked it with not only Phaedra and Kandi but also Kenya and Nene too!

Hmmmm…. there’s no telling how long Chuck Smith’s ATL dating list REALLY is…
