Actor Lance Gross was spotted out partying in Atlanta this past weekend.

Gross, best known for his role in Tyler Perry’s ‘House of Payne’ and most recently the movie ‘Temptation,’ hit up Prive Nightclub alongside DTP’s Chaka Zulu, BET’s Stephen Hill, Kenny Burns and more on Friday (November 15, 2013).

I’m a lil late on this, but Lance recently took part in a four-part short-film series that consisted of documentary-style narrations taking viewers through specific points in Black history represented by artifacts in The Kinsey Collection.?

The Kinsey Collection holds a lithograph of the first African American men who served as congressmen of the US Congress. Actor Lance Gross, tells us about the struggles and accomplishments of these men and how their hard work is directly related to our lives today.

The ‘Kinsey Collection’ video series was released as part of yearlong museum tour of the collection that launched during Black History Month.

The series is designed to educate viewers about the historical impact of African- American history on modern life using the perspective of each celebrity curator.

Lance Gross describes the trials faced by Josiah Walls, an early African- American statesmen in the 41(st) and 42(nd) Congress. Another features Jordin Sparks sharing the accomplishments of a young Phillis Wheatley, the first African- American woman poet to be published.
