It looks like its curtains for Kandi Burruss‘ ratings tragedy “The Kandi Factory” and if you’re scratching your head wondering what’s that?, well apparently you’re not alone.

Bravo’s fast-food “American Idol” type show had the vivacious singer-turned-reality-star and her team of do-gooders [Kwame Waters, Don Vito and Victor Jackson] on a mission to turn an everyday kind of guy or gal into a superstar.
With former ‘housewife’ Kim Zolciak being a ‘one hit wonder’ graduate of Kandi’s expertise, it seemed a win/win for both the network and Kandi to turn the guy or girl next door into a popstar, but sadly the show never picked up steam and the “contestants” who had little to no talent at all, were never even close to being superstars.
Sorry Kandi….
Details below..
Word on the curb was that Bravo was on the fence about renewing The Kandi Factory but apparently the network has officially pulled the plug.
A fan asked Kandi about her show returning and she confirmed the bad news on Twitter:
Men lie… women lie… numbers don’t. And ‘The Kandi Factory’ just couldn’t pull in any substantial viewership.
In addition to Kandi and her crew’s low ratings, there was quite a bit controversy from former contestants who called ‘foul’ over alleged broken promises.
Season one winner Matthew Solomon was supposed to garner a song written by Kandi and a music video produced by Kandi’s team, but Matt lashed out on Twitter claiming Kandi didn’t live up to her end of the bargain at all:
“Haven’t heard from Kandi since the show. Sorry you can’t download my song.”
But Solomon didn’t stop there. He went on to say:
“Wow Kandi, I got you a new season and u lied about what u promised. Using Kim for press.”
Strong fighting words? Maybe. But now that Andy has put the nail the coffin of that sad show it seems we’ll never get to find out how Matt’s saga turned out. *kicks rocks*
